The night was dark and silent.
Rain was falling slowly on the empty street.
Arif was running as fast as he could. His heart was beating wildly in his chest.
"Why is this happening to me?" he whispered while trying to catch his breath.
Just a few hours ago, he was a normal university student. But now everything had changed.
A loud sound came from behind him.
Bang!
A car lost control and rushed toward him.
Arif's eyes widened.
"Is this… the end?"
The bright headlights blinded his vision.
Then everything went dark.
When Arif opened his eyes again, he found himself floating in a strange black space.
There was nothing around him.
Suddenly a cold robotic voice echoed in the darkness.
[System Activated]
Arif froze.
"What… what was that?"
The voice spoke again.
[Shadow System Successfully Bound To Host]
A glowing screen appeared in front of him.
Name: Arif
Level: 1
Power: Locked
Arif stared at the screen in shock.
"System…? Like in games?"
The voice responded immediately.
[Congratulations. You have been reborn in another world.]
Arif's heart skipped a beat.
"Another world?"
At that moment, a powerful light swallowed his body.
And his new life… was about to begin.

Arif slowly opened his eyes.
The first thing he saw was a blue sky and strange tall trees around him. The air felt fresh and different.
He slowly sat up.
"Where… am I?"
Suddenly the robotic voice appeared again in his mind.
[Welcome to the world of Aetheria.]
Arif was shocked.
"Aetheria?"
Before he could say anything else, a blue screen appeared in front of him again.

Reward: 100 EXP + Shadow Skill
Arif's eyes widened.
"Are you serious? I just came here!"
At that moment, a strange growling sound came from the bushes nearby.

Arif slowly turned his head.
A wolf-like monster with glowing red eyes stepped out.
His heart started beating fast.
"A monster…?"
The system voice spoke calmly.
[Host must fight to survive.]
Arif clenched his fists.
"I guess… I don't have a choice."
The monster suddenly jumped toward him.
And Arif's first battle in the new world had begun.

The wolf monster rushed toward Arif with incredible speed.
Arif's heart pounded in fear.
"Damn! It's too fast!"
The monster jumped and tried to bite him. Arif quickly rolled to the side and barely avoided the attack.

"Even the system is insulting me now," Arif muttered.
He quickly looked around and saw a broken tree branch on the ground. Without thinking twice, he grabbed it.
The wolf attacked again.
This time Arif didn't run.
He swung the branch with all his strength.
Thud!
The branch hit the monster's head.
The wolf stepped back, growling angrily.
Arif felt a strange energy flowing through his body.
"Maybe… I can actually win this."
The monster jumped again.
Arif stepped forward and struck the wolf's neck with the branch.
The monster collapsed.

A blue screen appeared again.

Arif stared at the screen with excitement.
"A skill already?"
His new life had just begun.

"Sounds cool," he said.
Suddenly the forest became quiet.

From the dark forest, two more wolves slowly appeared.
Their red eyes glowed in the darkness.
Arif swallowed nervously.

His body suddenly moved like a shadow.
The wolves couldn't even react.
Arif appeared behind one of them.
And the fight started again.

The battle was intense.
Arif moved quickly using Shadow Step, barely avoiding the wolves' attacks.
"Too close!"
One wolf tried to bite his arm.
Arif jumped back and grabbed another sharp branch.
With perfect timing, he stabbed forward.
The branch pierced the monster's body.
The second wolf became furious and rushed toward him.
But Arif was already learning.
He activated Shadow Step again and appeared beside the monster.
Then he struck its head with full force.
The wolf fell to the ground.
Silence filled the forest.
A bright screen appeared again.

Arif looked at the screen and smiled.
"So this is my power."
He looked at the dark forest ahead.
Somewhere in that world, stronger enemies were waiting.
