Zazz: The Uncontrollable Boy

Chapter 2: The Dead Night

Night fell over Salam.

But it wasn't peaceful.

It was… dead.

The orphanage was gone.

Not damaged. Not broken.

Erased.

Walls had collapsed into dust. Iron rods twisted like dead branches. Toys were scattered across the ground, half-buried under debris. A broken teddy bear lay near the ruins, its stitched smile still frozen… as if nothing had happened.

Smoke drifted slowly into the sky.

And in the center of it all—

Zazz stood.

His body was still.

His eyes glowed faint blue in the darkness.

No emotion.

No movement.

Just… silence.

A cold wind passed.

Something rolled near his feet.

Zazz looked down.

A small shoe.

Burnt.

Familiar.

His breath caught.

Images flashed—

Laughter.

Voices.

"Zazz! Come play!"

"Happy birthday!"

His eyes widened.

"No…"

His hands began to shake.

"No… no…"

"I didn't do this…"

But his mind showed the truth.

The explosion.

The power.

The screams.

His voice broke.

"I… killed them…"

For a moment, Zazz looked human again.

His breathing became uneven. His chest tightened. Tears formed in his glowing eyes.

"I didn't mean to…"

Then—

That voice.

"Emotional instability detected."

"Suppressing response."

Zazz froze.

His tears stopped mid-fall.

His face slowly went blank again.

Silence returned.

The Sky Opens

Above Salam—

The sky flickered.

Then cracked.

For the first time—

The truth appeared.

Massive metallic structures floated high above. Red lights scanned the ground. Invisible barriers shimmered and broke apart like glass.

This was not a normal world.

This was a cage.

A mechanical voice echoed from the sky—

"Target confirmed: Subject Z-01."

Zazz slowly looked up.

His glowing eyes reflected the machines above.

No fear.

No confusion.

Just… emptiness.

They Came for Him

Then—

Dark shapes fell from the sky.

Fast.

Silent.

Deadly.

BOOM.

BOOM.

BOOM.

They landed around him.

Six figures.

Covered in black armor.

Eyes glowing red.

Weapons forming in their hands.

Not human.

Not fully machine.

Hunters.

One stepped forward.

"You are Subject Z-01."

Zazz didn't answer.

"You are unstable."

Still nothing.

The Hunter raised its weapon.

"By order of command—terminate the target."

Attack

A beam of energy shot forward.

Fast.

Precise.

Deadly.

BOOM!!!

The ground exploded where Zazz stood.

Dust filled the air.

Silence.

Then—

A figure stepped out of the smoke.

Zazz.

Unharmed.

The Hunters paused.

"Target intact…"

Zazz slowly lifted his head.

His eyes glowed brighter.

The air around him twisted.

"What… are you…?"

A Hunter whispered.

Zazz raised his hand.

And everything changed.

Destruction Begins

A sudden force burst outward—

CRASH!!!

The Hunters were thrown back instantly.

One slammed into broken walls. Another crashed into the ground, armor cracking.

Zazz looked at his hand.

Confused.

"I… did that?"

But there was no time.

"All units—attack!"

The Hunters rushed him.

Fast.

Sharp.

Perfect coordination.

Blades formed.

Energy charged.

Zazz stepped back.

"No… stop…"

They didn't stop.

"STOP!!!"

His voice echoed across the ruins.

And then—

It happened.

The Uncontrollable Power

Energy exploded from his body.

Wild.

Violent.

Unstoppable.

The ground shattered beneath him.

Air blasted outward like a storm.

The night itself seemed to tear apart.

BOOOOOOM!!!

Everything went white.

Then—

Silence.

Aftermath

The dust slowly settled.

The wind faded.

Nothing moved.

The Hunters—

Gone.

Not defeated.

Not broken.

Erased.

Zazz stood alone again.

His body trembling.

His breathing heavy.

His eyes flickered.

Blue… normal… blue…

"I don't want this…"

His voice was weak now.

Broken.

"I didn't want to hurt anyone…"

The voice answered him again.

Cold. Final.

"You were not created to want."

"You were created to destroy."

Zazz fell to his knees.

Clutching his head.

"WHO AM I?!"

No answer.

Only the wind.

Only the ruins.

Only the truth he couldn't escape.

Something Worse Is Coming

Above—

The ships moved.

Bigger ones.

Heavier.

More dangerous.

Red lights focused directly on him.

A new voice spoke—

Deeper.

More powerful.

"Deploy next unit."

The air trembled.

Something massive was coming.

Something even Zazz might not survive.

Zazz slowly stood up.

His body weak.

But his eyes—

Still glowing.

The boy was gone.

Only the uncontrollable remained.

And the night…

Was far from over.

To be continued… 🔥
