Chapter 5 - "The Unknown Face:A Story of Seven Years"

The Unknown Face: A Story of Seven Years

Chapter 1: The Wedding Night

Era, a 22-year-old girl, got married to Aryan in a traditional, rushed ceremony. The wedding was grand, but strange. The groom kept his face veiled, and the ceremony was quick. After the rituals, Aryan was supposed to meet her in their room, but he never arrived. A mysterious fire in the old house of her in-laws, that same night, made everyone panic. When the smoke cleared, Aryan was gone, and there was no trace of him, not even a picture.

Chapter 2: The Silent House

Seven years passed. Era lived in a large, silent house with her parents-in-law, who rarely spoke about their son. She was a bride without a husband, often questioned by society, yet she refused to leave. She felt a deep connection to a man she never really saw.

Chapter 3: The Clue in the Attic

One rainy afternoon, while cleaning the attic, Era found a small, rusted iron box. Inside, she found a picture of a man with his back turned towards the camera, looking at a lighthouse, and an old, broken silver ring.

Chapter 4: The Journey Begins

The back of the photo had a date, exactly seven years ago, and a location: "The Lighthouse of the Red Sea." Era decided she would not stay silent anymore. She decided to go to the location.

Chapter 5: The First Stop - The Village Elder

Era traveled to the small coastal village. She showed the photo to a village elder. He recognized the lighthouse but said that no one had lived in the lighthouse for a long time. "Many secrets are hidden in the sand, young lady," he said.

Chapter 6: The Man in the Tavern

At a local tavern, she showed the picture to the owner. He hesitated but then pointed towards an old, rugged man working on a boat nearby. "He was the caretaker of that lighthouse seven years ago," the owner whispered.

Chapter 7: The Revelation

The old man didn't want to talk, but seeing the broken ring, his face turned pale. "You are the bride of the 'Shadow'," he said. He explained that Aryan was not just an ordinary man; he was an undercover agent working against a dangerous smuggling ring that was using the lighthouse as a base.

Chapter 8: The Night of the Fire

The old man revealed that on the wedding night, the smuggling group found out about Aryan's identity. The fire was an attack, not an accident. Aryan had fought them off and hidden to protect her, but he couldn't come back without putting her life in danger.

Chapter 9: The Final Clue

The old man gave her a new address, a safe house on the other side of the coast. "He has been waiting for the storm to stop," he said.

Chapter 10: The Re-union

Era arrived at the house. It was a small, white cottage. When the door opened, she saw him—the same, yet different. His face was scarred, but his eyes were the same. He had been waiting for her, watching from afar for seven long years. The unknown face finally became her reality. "I promised I would come back," he said, and the семь years of silence finally ended.
