Death and a Strange Voice
Adam never thought his life would end like this.
Rain poured heavily from the dark sky as he walked down the empty street. The city lights flickered weakly in the distance, reflecting on the wet asphalt.
His phone vibrated in his pocket.

Adam sighed. At twenty-six years old, his life had become nothing more than an endless cycle of work, sleep, and stress.

A blinding light exploded in front of him.
A truck.

Too close.
Adam's eyes widened.
Everything went black.

Adam slowly opened his eyes.
