Jay recovered a little more every day.
The doctors even allowed her to walk slowly around the room.
But one thing had become a running joke in the whole group.
Jay controlled Keifer.
Completely.
That afternoon everyone was sitting in Jay's hospital room again.
Freya was bored.
Rakki was playing with Jay's phone.
Ella and Grace were talking quietly.
Percy leaned against the wall.
Keifer was standing near the window.
Looking outside.
Freya suddenly got an idea.
She smirked mischievously.
"Let's test something."
Rakki raised an eyebrow.
"What?"
Freya whispered loudly,
"Jay controls Keifer right?"
Everyone started smiling.
Jay frowned.
"What nonsense are you planning?"
Freya ignored her and called out,
"Keifer."
Keifer turned slightly.
"Yeah?"
Freya pointed at the table.
"Bring me that water bottle."
Keifer looked at her.
Then calmly turned back to the window.
Freya gasped dramatically.
"See!"
Rakki burst out laughing.
"He ignored you."
Freya crossed her arms.
"Fine."
She turned to Jay.
"Your turn."
Jay sighed.
"You guys are childish."
But she still looked at Keifer.
"Keifer."
He turned immediately.
"Yeah?"
"Give Freya the water bottle."
Without saying anything else—
Keifer walked to the table.
Picked up the bottle.
And handed it to Freya.
The entire room exploded.
Rakki fell back laughing.
"I can't believe this!"
Ella clapped her hands.
"This is real."
Grace shook her head with a smile.
"Jay controls him."
Freya looked at Keifer suspiciously.
"What is this behavior?"
Keifer shrugged casually.
"What behavior?"
Freya pointed at Jay.
"You only listen to her!"
Keifer glanced at Jay for a second.
Then said calmly,
"So?"
That made everyone scream with laughter.
Rakki pointed dramatically.
"He admitted it!"
Percy chuckled.
"Bro is completely under control."
Jay felt her face turning red.
"Stop saying that!"
Freya leaned closer to Jay with a teasing grin.
"So basically…"
"You control him."
Jay rolled her eyes.
But Keifer suddenly spoke from beside her.
"Only she can."
Everyone froze for a second.
Then the teasing started again even louder.
And Jay secretly smiled… because she knew it was true. 💙
