The sky above Eldoria was still filled with dust and lingering light from the massive explosion.
The sounds of destruction slowly began to fade.
At the center of the giant crater stood Arken.
His sword was still burning with Eclipse energy.
A few meters in front of him… the massive body of Drakthar crashed heavily to the ground.
BOOM!
The earth trembled as the monster hit the ground.
His enormous wings were shattered.
The Void energy within his body was falling apart.
Drakthar tried to stand.
But the huge wound in his chest was now wide open.
The Void core inside his body was cracked.
Arken slowly stepped closer.
Drakthar stared at him with fury and disbelief.
"Impossible…"
"I… am a Void General…"
"I cannot lose to a human!"
Arken raised his sword.
His gaze was cold.
"You lost because you underestimated this world."
Drakthar growled.
"Arrogance… is the right of rulers!"
But as he tried to stand once more…
The Void core in his chest finally shattered.
CRACK.
Black energy burst out like a violent storm.
Drakthar looked down at his own body in shock.
"No…"
"This… cannot…"
His body began turning into Void dust.
Before completely collapsing, the monster roared.
"This is not the end!"
Then Drakthar's body completely disintegrated into dark particles that vanished into the air.
Silence fell over the city of Eldoria.
A few seconds later…
The members of the Eclipse Alliance finally realized what had happened.
Kael let out a small laugh.
"We… won?"
Mira lowered her bow.
"Looks like it."
From the distance, Lunaria walked toward Arken.
"You did it…"
But suddenly—
The air above the city trembled.
Space in the sky cracked like glass.
CRACK.
Everyone instantly prepared for battle again.
From the dimensional rift emerged a figure wearing a long black robe.
His eyes glowed with cold light.
It was Seraphyx.
One of the other Void Generals.
But he did not attack.
He simply floated in the air, observing the ruined city.
Then his gaze shifted toward Arken.
"Interesting…"
Arken immediately raised his sword.
But Seraphyx only gave a faint smile.
"I did not come to fight."
Lunaria looked at him cautiously.
"Then why are you here?"
Seraphyx looked at both of them.
"To greet you."
Cold wind swirled around his body.
"And to tell you something."
He glanced at the place where Drakthar had been destroyed.
"Drakthar was always too arrogant."
"He believed brute monster strength was enough to win."
Seraphyx smiled slightly wider.
"But in truth…"
"He was only bait."
The entire team froze in shock.
Arken frowned.
"What do you mean?"
Seraphyx answered calmly.
"We wanted to observe something."
His sharp gaze locked onto Arken.
"Your Eclipse power."
Lunaria clenched her fists.
"So you sent him intentionally?"
Seraphyx nodded.
"Correct."
"And now we have our answer."
He slowly turned back toward the dimensional rift.
Before leaving, he spoke in a cold voice.
"Prepare yourselves, Eclipse heirs."
His gaze shifted between Arken and Lunaria.
"Because this…"
"Is only the beginning."
The dimensional rift slowly closed.
And the figure of Seraphyx disappeared.
Silence returned to the city.
But this time…
Arken knew one thing.
The battle they had just won…
Was only the first step in a much greater war.
