Endless Chaos – Chaos Void Plane: The Path of Games

Chapter 6: Invitation of a Game Lord

The Chaos Void Plane was silent again.

After the battlefield vanished, only endless darkness and swirling streams of chaotic energy remained. The protagonist floated alone, with the Infinite Board slowly rotating before him.

Its glowing lines were brighter than ever.

The reward from defeating another player had greatly strengthened him.

New information flowed through his mind.

His understanding of rules had grown deeper.

He could now sense more complex systems hidden within the chaos itself.

But before he could fully process the knowledge—

The board suddenly trembled.

A strange signal appeared across its surface.

Symbols formed rapidly across the glowing grid.

External Invitation Detected

The protagonist focused on the message.

This invitation felt completely different from the system-generated games he had played before.

This one carried a powerful presence behind it.

The Infinite Board analyzed the signal.

Sender Identified

Origin: Unknown

Estimated Power Level: Game Lord

The protagonist froze.

A Game Lord.

Ancient beings who had mastered the Path of Games for countless ages.

Beings who treated worlds as pieces and civilizations as strategies.

Why would one of them invite him?

Before he could decide whether to accept or reject the invitation—

The surrounding chaos suddenly changed.

The endless darkness began to shift.

Massive structures slowly appeared around him.

Gigantic floating platforms formed from ancient stone.

Each platform was covered in glowing runes and symbols representing countless game systems.

Then a massive cosmic board appeared.

It was unimaginably large.

Entire continents could fit within a single tile.

The protagonist realized something shocking.

This was not a small arena like before.

This was a Cosmic Game Board.

Then a deep voice echoed across the void.

"So… you are the new player."

The voice carried an ancient authority.

The chaos itself seemed to tremble in response.

A colossal figure slowly appeared in the distance.

The being was enormous—larger than entire mountains.

Its body was formed from countless glowing symbols and game rules constantly shifting around it.

Behind the giant floated a massive artifact.

A board far older and more complex than the Infinite Board.

The protagonist immediately understood.

This was one of the Game Lords.

The ancient being looked down at him.

"I have watched your last game."

"To defeat an experienced player with such creativity…"

"…interesting."

The Game Lord slowly stepped onto the cosmic board.

Each step caused entire tiles to glow.

"I am Arkan, the Game Lord of Strategy."

The name echoed across the void.

The protagonist felt immense pressure just hearing it.

But Arkan did not attack.

Instead, the ancient being waved his hand.

A new game interface appeared across the massive board.

COSMIC GAME INITIALIZED

Game Type: Civilization Game

Players: 2

Scale: World Level

The protagonist's consciousness trembled slightly.

This was far beyond anything he had experienced.

Arkan spoke again.

"Most beginners play with creatures or simple battlefields."

"But the true Path of Games…"

"…is played with worlds."

Suddenly two glowing spheres appeared above the board.

Each sphere contained a newborn world.

Mountains.

Oceans.

Primitive life.

The Game Lord continued calmly.

"These worlds will evolve."

"Civilizations will rise."

"Wars will begin."

"History will unfold."

Then Arkan's glowing eyes focused directly on the protagonist.

"And we will guide them."

The system confirmed the rules.

Victory Condition: Dominant Civilization

The protagonist stared at the two worlds floating above the cosmic board.

If he accepted this game…

He would be playing with entire civilizations as pieces.

Arkan smiled faintly.

"Show me."

"Whether you deserve to walk the Path of Games."

The cosmic board lit up completely.

The game was about to begin.

And this time…

The pieces were worlds.
