Chapter 1 - Chapter 0: SMALL BEGINNING

Mia, baby, where are you going?" her mother called from inside the house while cooking.

"Mommy, I'm going to the park. And Can I buy ice cream?"

Her mother smiled softly. "Yes, baby. Wait, I need to finish this oky and after we can buy Ice cream.

"oky mommy.

They walked out of the gate together. The afternoon was peaceful, and the park was only a few minutes away from their house. Children were playing, and the sound of laughter filled the air.

They stopped by a small ice cream cart.

"One strawberry ice cream for my daughter," her mother said.

Mia happily took the ice cream. "Thank you, Mommy!"

While eating, Mia looked around the park. Her eyes suddenly noticed a young girl sitting under a tree. The girl was quiet… her head lowered, not talking to anyone.

Mia kept looking at her.

"Mommy, can I get another ice cream?" Mia suddenly asked.

Her mother looked at her with surprise. "Why? You already have one."

"I just… like ice cream, Mommy," Mia said innocently.

Her mother chuckled and bought another one.

After a while, Mia's mother stood up. "I'll go home first, Mia baby oky I need to do some work. Don't stay too long, okay baby?"

"Yes, Mommy."

When her mother left, Mia slowly walked toward the girl sitting under the tree.

The girl didn't move. She was still looking down, quiet and distant.

Mia stopped in front of her and gently held out the ice cream.

"Here," Mia said softly. "For you."

The girl slowly lifted her head.

Her face was calm… almost emotionless.

But for the first time, someone had approached her.

Mia lifted the ice cream and smiled.

"Here… ice cream."

The girl only stared at it.

"You're sitting alone," Mia said. "Don't you have a friend?"

The girl stayed silent.

Mia tilted her head curiously.

"You're very quiet… are you shy?"

The girl stayed silent.

Mia laughed softly and held the ice cream closer to her.

"Here, take it. It's going to melt."

Even though the girl barely spoke, Mia kept talking to her as if they had known each other for a long time.

Just then, a voice called from behind.

"Baby Mia, come on get in inside na!

It was her mother.

Mia turned around.

"Okay, Mommy!"

Before leaving, Mia looked back at the quiet girl under the tree.

"See you again," she said with a small smile.

The girl didn't reply.

But her eyes quietly followed Mia as she walked away.

Morning came, and the sunlight slowly entered Mia's room.

"Mia, wake up baby," her mother said gently.

"Yes mommy, I'm awake," Mia replied while rubbing her eyes.

"By the way, we're going out later. We're going to church. Your father wants us to go together."

"Okay, Mommy," Mia said.

She paused for a moment before asking,

"Mommy, can I go outside to the park first?"

Her mother smiled. "Okay, but don't go too far."

"Okay, Mommy!" Mia said happily.

Meanwhile, in another big house…

"Alessandra," the nanny called.

The little girl walked slowly while holding her teddy bear. She quietly went down the stairs without saying a word.

"Come, let's have breakfast," the nanny said softly.

Alessandra sat at the long dining table.

A few moments later, her mother arrived and sat down.

The room suddenly felt cold and silent.

Her mother looked at her, but there was no smile and no words.

Alessandra just lowered her eyes and continued eating her breakfast quietly while hugging her teddy bear.

Minutes later …

The nanny took Alessandra to the park.

She sat on the same tree again, still quiet, while her nanny stood nearby watching her.

After a few minutes, Mia arrived at the park.

She looked around and suddenly noticed the familiar girl.

"Hey! It's you again!" Mia said excitedly.

She walked closer and sat beside her.

Alessandra looked at her for a moment but stayed silent.

Mia smiled warmly.

"You're still quiet," she said gently.

She took something from her hand.

"I brought ice cream again."

Alessandra looked at the ice cream, then looked back at Mia.

She still didn't speak.

But this time… she didn't look away.

And Mia kept smiling beside her.

Mia smiled and sat comfortably beside her.

"You're still quiet," Mia said softly. "But that's okay."

Do you like ice cream?"

Alessandra lick the ice cream

While She held her teddy bear tighter but still didn't say anything.

Mia didn't mind the silence.

"My name is Mia," she said cheerfully. "What's your name?"

Alessandra looked at her but remained silent.

Mia laughed a little.

"Hmm… you don't talk much, huh?"

She continued talking happily.

"I come here to the park a lot. I like the trees and the swings. Sometimes I come here alone."

Alessandra quietly listened while looking at the ground.

"My mommy said I shouldn't go far," Mia continued. "But the park is my favorite place."

A gentle breeze passed through the park.

Mia looked at Alessandra again and smiled.

"You don't have to talk if you don't want to," she said softly. "I can talk for both of us."

For the first time, Alessandra slowly looked at Mia again.

She still didn't say a word…

…but she stayed there beside her.

And Mia kept talking happily as if they had already been friends for a long time.
