Chapter One — Piro
More than ten thousand years ago, a mysterious man appeared on the continent.
No one knew where he had come from.
Yet he called himself the strongest man on the continent.
Legends claimed he possessed mythical combat techniques.
He could fly through the sky, and with a single punch he could shatter a mountain.
Some even said that he once fought an emperor from the heavens…
…and then vanished without a trace.
---
Inside a worn-down orphanage shelter, a chubby boy sat before a small group of children, telling that very story with dramatic gestures.
"According to the legend," the fat boy continued proudly,
"he fought a Heavenly Emperor… and after that battle, he disappeared under mysterious circumstances."
The group listening to him consisted of four boys.
Piro.
Lotham.
Jin.
And the storyteller himself — Chris.
Suddenly, Lotham jumped to his feet.
"I'll become stronger than that man!" he shouted loudly.
"Everyone will call me the strongest one day! Hahaha!"
He burst into loud laughter.
Piro rolled his eyes and looked at him with obvious disbelief.
"Are you insane?" Piro said flatly.
"You still believe that ridiculous story? We all know it's just a myth. A fairy tale. Where would a man like that even come from?"
THUD.
Chris suddenly smacked Piro hard across the back.
"Idiot!" Chris barked.
"You're ruining our dreams again!"
Jin quickly stepped in between them.
"Stop it, guys… please. No fighting."
---
But the argument continued anyway.
For nearly an entire hour.
And in the end…
Chris stood in front of the three boys — all of whom now clearly carried the marks of being beaten by him.
"Listen carefully," Chris said proudly.
"Tomorrow the Warrior Organization is coming."
"They will awaken our Core."
His eyes gleamed with excitement.
"So… which one of you is ready to become a warrior?"
---
Piro sighed quietly to himself.
We just turned twelve… he thought.
Of course they're coming.
Why is everyone so excited about it…?
Lotham and Jin, however, could barely contain themselves.
They were practically trembling with anticipation for tomorrow.
Night had already grown late inside the orphanage.
The boys were technically supposed to be asleep, but they had snuck out of bed without the caretaker noticing.
Lotham suddenly glanced at Piro.
"Hey, Piro," he said with a teasing grin.
"Are you still dreaming about that stupid dream of yours?"
The words hit harder than a punch.
Piro's face flushed red with embarrassment.
"T-That's none of your business," he muttered.
The others burst into laughter.
Piro was a handsome young boy.
His eyes were crimson, and his black hair fell just above them, partially covering his gaze. His expression was usually calm… almost distant.
Jin laughed loudly.
"Piro, if I were you and had such a stupid dream, I'd kill myself from embarrassment! Hahaha!"
Lotham wiped tears of laughter from his eyes.
"Just hearing you say it makes me want to bury myself in the ground!"
---
Piro's fists clenched.
His face burned with humiliation.
Suddenly he jumped to his feet.
"Don't mock me, you idiots!" he shouted.
"I will surpass it!"
"I'll surpass the limits of the world itself!"
"I'll become the most free, the most powerful, and the most knowledgeable person in history!"
Silence.
For exactly half a second.
Then the three boys collapsed onto the floor laughing so hard they could barely breathe.
Tears streamed down their faces.
Piro's cheeks turned even redder.
Embarrassed beyond words, he grabbed his blanket, threw it over himself, and curled up in bed.
The others continued laughing late into the night.
But Piro ignored them… and eventually fell asleep.
---
The Next Day
A large training courtyard had been prepared.
More than fifteen children, all around Piro's age, stood in a line.
Among them were Piro, Chris, Lotham, and Jin.
Standing before them was a tall, muscular man.
His presence alone felt overwhelming.
Suddenly the man shouted loudly.
"Alright! Let's begin!"
His name was Bony.
And he was responsible for awakening the cores of the children.
---
Bony walked forward and spoke firmly.
"Sit cross-legged."
The children obeyed immediately.
One by one, Bony placed a small container in front of each child.
Inside it was glowing liquid.
The liquid emitted a faint magical radiance.
It was beautiful… almost mesmerizing.
"Drink the water," Bony ordered.
"Then enter meditation like we taught you."
Chris, Jin, and Lotham quickly grabbed theirs.
So did the other children.
Piro stared at the glowing water in silence.
Is this… the moment I've been waiting for?
He closed his eyes.
Then he drank it.
And entered meditation.
---
Suddenly—
Every child's heart began pounding violently.
Some cried out in pain.
Veins bulged across their bodies as pressure crushed down on them.
Piro felt as if his entire body were being crushed.
His limbs became heavy.
And then—
Darkness swallowed him.
---
He stood in an endless void.
"What…?"
"Where am I?"
Fear crept into his chest.
Sweat dripped down his face.
There was nothing around him.
Only darkness.
Then suddenly—
A crimson light appeared within the void.
Piro's body trembled.
"W-Who… who are you…?"
The red figure stepped forward.
Its voice echoed like thunder.
"I know you."
"You and I… we are the weakest. Aren't we?"
Piro froze.
But he forced himself to speak.
"How do you know me…? Who are you?!"
The crimson figure laughed.
A deep, terrifying laugh that shook Piro's spine.
"I have known you since the moment you were born."
"I watched when they found you abandoned outside the Warrior Orphanage."
"I know why your family abandoned you."
"I know your mother… your father…"
"I even know who you were in the past."
"Yes… I know you very well."
The darkness beneath Piro's feet suddenly felt like it was collapsing.
The voice echoed through his mind.
"Remember my name well."
"I am your Rex."
"Your special body has finally awakened."
The voice deepened.
"Remember this name."
"Mora."
"The Eternal Chaos Emperor."
"The being with the greatest potential in this world."
Piro screamed.
His scream shook the void itself.
Then the crimson light suddenly transformed into a beam of scarlet energy—
—and shot directly into his mind.
---
Back in the courtyard…
All the children were releasing faint white auras.
Piro was sweating heavily.
His eyes remained tightly shut.
Suddenly, from the other side—
One child's aura surged violently.
It expanded, pushing away the others.
The boy had blue hair and delicate features.
His name was Raylon.
Bony's eyes widened in shock.
"A monstrous talent…"
"Yes."
"You will become a warrior."
Raylon's aura slowly condensed again.
Still brighter than the others.
---
Two hours later…
The children finally awoke from meditation.
Bony gathered them and spoke with strict authority.
"From today onward, you lazy brats will begin training inside our system."
"You will learn to wield swords and spears."
"You will fight for the organization."
"You will dedicate your lives to becoming stronger."
His voice grew colder.
"For the sake of our order."
"The most secret organization on the continent."
He raised his hand.
"The Warrior Organization."
Bony then smiled.
A sinister smile.
"Training equipment will arrive in one hour."
The children felt uneasy.
But Raylon simply looked on calmly.
---
As for Piro…
A single thought echoed in his mind.
Mora…
The Eternal Chaos Emperor…
Inside my head…
---
The children returned to their rooms.
Piro entered his room slowly.
Then suddenly fell to his knees.
"What… was that?"
"Was it real…?"
"Everything he said…"
"About my family…"
"Who are you… Mora?"
Piro activated his Core.
A white aura appeared around him.
But suddenly—
Behind his back…
A crimson celestial wheel appeared.
It floated like a halo, connected to his body.
But it was not an aura.
It was something else entirely.
Piro stared at it in shock.
"…What is this?"
