Chapter 1
It was a quiet evening when Maya was sitting in her room, scrolling through her phone. She loved reading short stories and watching videos online after finishing her studies. One day, while checking her messages, she received a message from an unknown number.
"Hi… is this Maya?"
At first, she ignored it. She thought it might be a wrong number. But after a few minutes, another message appeared.
"Sorry if I disturbed you. I think I saved the wrong contact."
Maya replied politely, "It's okay. But yes, you have the wrong number."
The boy's name was Arjun. After that small conversation, they stopped texting. But strangely, a few days later, Arjun sent another message just to say hello. Slowly, their small chats turned into longer conversations.
They talked about their favorite books, movies, dreams, and even their fears. Maya realized that Arjun was a kind and thoughtful person. He always encouraged her and made her laugh when she felt stressed.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Even though they had never met in person, their friendship became very special. Every morning started with a "Good morning" message, and every night ended with "Take care."
One day, Maya was feeling very sad because she had failed an important exam. She felt like giving up. When Arjun found out, he called her for the first time.
"Don't give up on yourself," he said softly. "You are stronger than you think."
Those words meant a lot to Maya. She realized that Arjun truly cared about her happiness.
After months of talking, they finally decided to meet in a small café. Maya was nervous, and her heart was beating fast. When she entered the café, she saw a boy standing near the window with a gentle smile.
"Hi, Maya," he said.
