Soldiers and adventurers fought, multiple plasmatic guns and spells being fired at the monster but the Kaiju was just taking on every hit, slowly adapting to the multiple failed attempts.
In a flash, Gul lunged at the Kaiju's tail, his body becoming a blur. "Quivering Riposte..." he muttered.
A series of rapid thrusts injecting vibrations that quivered the enemy's insides like a struck bell, hurled toward the Kaiju's tail at high speed.
He immediately came to a halt after realizing that the temperature surrounding Kaiju was so high that the heat was enough to burn anyone who got closer.
"Tch... we have no choice but to rely on long-range attacks," he mumbled, holding his blade tightly and slightly touching his burnt cheek from the heat.
Maugier stretched his arms, then shouted, "Speed enhancement!" buffing Baudin, who then sped past right through him.
Baudin held his greatsword tautly with both hands as he raised it incredible strength aiming directly to the tail of the monster.
"Colossus Verdict!" An unyielding downward range slash attack powered by brute strength.
Rainier stretched out one arm, pointing at the slash before it hit the tail.
"Necrotic Bolt," he mumbled, launching a spectral dark bolt merging with Baudin's slash.
This created a massive dark energy slash merging into another that traveled in a straight line heading towards the tail, that's about to cut through Kaiju's tough skin.
Gul then saw this as a opportunity, he quickly ran to a position where he can hit the Kaiju's torso with precision.
Right after that he began to focus his mana on his blade, quickly preparing to emit a long-range technique to strengthen the force of the attack.
"Riposte Burst!" In a single thrust of the blade, Gul sent a massive vibration ray toward monster's torso at high speed.
As the Baudin's slash hit the tail, it bisected it in half, and the vibration thrust struck Kaiju's torso.
Shockwaves traveled through the Kaiju's body, causing it to let out a roar and making the pink atomic breath from its mouth faded.
While that was happening, Imra lunged forward in a blitz. She spun her daggers and caught them swiftly.
Verene then shouted, "Agility Enhancement! Heat Resistance!" She stretched her arms, aiming at Imra, whose body glowed orange and green, temporarily buffing her agility and granting fire resistance.
"Crimson Tempo." Imra danced through the Kaiju's massive body like a parkour pro, rapidly piercing its skin in a flash with her dual dagger at the end of the combo he leaped in the air resting.
While Imra was in mid-air, Kaiju attempted to fire an atomic blast at her. Her arms raised defensively, she closed her eyes bracing for the impact.
However...
Lucien quickly cast a spell with Ivy's magical support. "Radiant Aegis!" he shouted.
He pointed his staff directly at Imra, creating a shimmering protective light dome that deflected projectiles.
The spell protected Imra from the atomic breath.
She gave a wink at Lucien as a reward, he collapsed onto the ground, his nose bleeding.
"Hey— it's not the time for that!" Ivy tightly pinched his ear in payback. Lucien whimpered, "Ow! That hurts!"
Emmy pointed one of her guns at the Kaiju and mumbled, "Viper's Fang Shot."
A precise single round, injecting fast-acting neurotoxin straight into the bloodstream.
It pierced through Kaiju's skin, temporarily weakening him.
On the other side...
Regis aimed at Godzilla's head. "Zephyr Blade!"—generating razor-sharp wind blades that cut from a distance.
"Iridescent Barrage."—Ives' rapid-fire sequence of arrows leaving dazzling trails, bursting into prism-shaped explosions on impact.
The force of the attack hit Kaiju's side of the head; it slightly tilted it's head due to the gravity of the attack.
Kaiju's body glowed with a blue-ish magenta hue again—his tail regenerated, and wounds seemed to be closing up by themselves.
"Are we for real...? It can regenerate..." Baudin's jaw dropped in shock, along with the other adventurers.
"Everyone!" Gard declared. "Please, just hold on a little longer. I'll end this battle within a single strike." With that, he impaled his blade into the ground while gripping it with both wrists.
He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and focused on channeling his mana right through his body.

Loki was just walking in the empty parisian streets heading towards his apartment when suddenly he heard and saw a little girl crying as she was being carried by one of the kidnappers.
He paused, ignoring them after letting out a sigh, and walked past the van.
He don't like saving people.
The little girl desperately called for help, her voice fading as one of the kidnappers put her to sleep with a handkerchief over her mouth.
He went back to walking while scrolling through his phone.
After few moments, someone bumped into him—a dad searching for his daughter—as he asked Loki questions.
The dad was panicking, his body shaking, extremely worried about his daughter.
"H-have you seen my daughter? She wears two ponytails, a penguin hairclip, and had a mole on her left cheek."
Loki barely heard him because of the headphones in his ears listening to music.
He still responded, "Oh, a kid? She got kidnapped by a van. I dunno where they're taking her, though." He said it in a calm tone while tapping his foot.
"W-what...? Why didn't you save her!?" The dad's voice was filled with anger now, his fist turning white.
Then Loki responded in a cool chilling tone, "Do I look like a hero to you?" His hand still resting in his pocket.
"Y-you—!!" He tried to punch him, but he was too slow for Loki's eyes to follow.
Loki thought to himself, "This dude is a bit too light-headed, I guess." He slightly tilted his head to dodge the attack.
"Or maybe I really just don't understand people's feelings." After dodging the attack, he quickly gave the dad a cold stare.
The stare was enough to make the dad fall on his knee.
His vision darkened and blurred, as if darkness were swallowing him up.
"T-the hell is happening...?" his voice was filled with fear.
"I-is this m-magic..?" As his last words faded, his body tore apart and exploded into pieces.
"Sleep well." Loki turned his head around and walk away with his headphones still in, listening to some random playlist.
