Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Cosmic Perimeter Check

"Training?" Vados's voice hit a glass-shattering soprano. "Lord Champa, the last time you used that word, you were referring to 'training' your taste buds to handle ghost peppers from the Volcanic Moons of Hestia. You ended up crying for three days and erasing the moon out of spite."

"That was the old me," I said, trying to ignore the way my silk robes clung to my midsection. "The new me realizes that if Beerus wakes up and sees I've let myself go this much, I'll never hear the end of it."

It was a half-truth. The real reason was simpler: Survival. In this world, being a God didn't mean you were safe. Between Zeno's whims and the eventual arrival of beings like Moro or Granolah, "lazy" was a death sentence.

The First Feast

We arrived at the dining pavilion—a platform made of solid opal floating over a sea of liquid starlight. Vados waved her staff, and plates materialized.

Star-Seared Kraken: Tentacles that sizzled with blue electricity.

Gravity-Grown Greens: Vegetables so dense they actually tugged at my fork.

Nebula Nectar: A drink that changed color based on my mood. Right now, it was a nervous yellow.

I ate. It wasn't just food; it was fuel. As a God of Destruction, the calories didn't just go to my waist—they fueled the Hakai energy. I could feel my power level—an abstract concept made terrifyingly real—thrumming like a nuclear reactor.

"Vados," I said, wiping my mouth with a silk napkin. "I want to visit the Sadala system. Now."

Destination: Planet Sadala

Vados paused, her staff glowing faintly. "The Saiyans? They are currently little more than glorified mercenaries, Lord Champa. Hardly worth a God's attention. They spend most of their time hitting each other with clubs and occasionally firing basic energy waves."

"That's exactly why we're going," I replied.

A century before Goku, the Saiyans of Universe 6 were different from their Universe 7 counterparts. They weren't planet-conquering thugs; they were a peacekeeping force, albeit a brutal one.

"Hold onto my robe," Vados sighed.

The world blurred into a streak of rainbow light. The Warp Travel was nauseating—like being pulled through a straw at the speed of light. Seconds later, the heat of a red sun hit my face.

Below us lay Planet Sadala. It was jagged, mountainous, and teeming with high-power signatures.

The Saiyan Pride

We descended into the capital city, a sprawl of stone and high-tech alloy. The Saiyans below stopped in their tracks. They didn't have scouters—they didn't need them. They could feel the sheer, oppressive weight of my presence. It was like a physical shroud covering the city.

A group of warriors, led by a tall man with a scar running across his snout, stepped forward. They didn't kneel immediately; they were too proud for that.

"Who invades the airspace of the Sadala Defense Force?" the leader barked, his hand hovering over a ki-blade at his hip.

Vados stepped forward, her heels clicking on the stone. "You stand in the presence of Lord Champa, the Destroyer of this Universe. I suggest you find your manners before he finds his appetite for destruction."

The leader paled. The stories of the purple cat-god were legends used to frighten children, but the pressure rolling off me was very, very real. He dropped to one knee, and a thousand soldiers behind him followed suit like falling dominoes.

"Forgive us, My Lord," he muttered. "I am Commander Renso... the first of my name."

Renso. I blinked. That name sounded familiar. He was likely the ancestor of the Renso and Caulifla I knew from the anime.

"Get up, Commander," I said, my voice echoing off the canyon walls. "I'm not here to destroy you. At least, not today. I'm looking for someone. A Saiyan with a spark... someone who isn't satisfied with just being 'strong'."

I looked at Vados. "We're going to find the first Super Saiyan of Universe 6. And we're going to do it a hundred years early."
