Chapter 6 - the creation - chapter 1

The Night a Story Was Born

Night had settled quietly over the city.

Most apartments had already turned dark, their windows reflecting the faint glow of streetlights below. The distant sound of passing cars hummed softly through the quiet streets, fading in and out like distant waves.

But in one small apartment on the fifth floor, a single light still burned.

A desk lamp cast a warm golden circle across a cluttered workspace. Papers were scattered everywhere—some stacked neatly, others crumpled and tossed aside. Several notebooks lay open with pages filled in hurried handwriting, arrows connecting ideas, entire paragraphs scratched out and rewritten.

At the center of the desk sat a laptop.

The screen illuminated the tired but focused face of a young woman sitting before it.

Her fingers moved rapidly across the keyboard, the sound of typing filling the otherwise silent room.

Tap.

Tap. Tap.

Tap tap tap.

The rhythm of her typing was quick and confident, the kind of speed that came when someone's mind was racing faster than their hands could follow.

On the laptop screen, a document stretched for dozens of pages.

At the very top of the page was the title.

The Radiance of Angelica

The words were written in bold letters, standing proudly above the long story outline below.

The young woman leaned forward in her chair, resting her chin lightly against her hand as she reread the paragraph she had just written.

A small smile slowly spread across her face.

Excitement flickered in her eyes.

She whispered softly to herself.

"Perfect."

She adjusted her glasses slightly and began typing again.

More lines appeared on the screen.

Descriptions. Dialogue fragments. Plot notes.

Her imagination was flowing freely now.

Entire scenes unfolded in her mind as she wrote.

A beautiful heroine standing in sunlight.

A noble academy filled with powerful heirs.

Six exceptional men destined to shape the world.

And opposite them—

A villainess.

Her fingers paused for a moment above the keyboard.

Then she typed another name.

Seraphina Valerion

She stared at the name thoughtfully.

Her smile returned, but this time it held something sharper.

"Every good story needs a villain."

She began writing again.

Seraphina — daughter of a powerful noble house.

Brilliant, elegant, and feared for her intelligence.

But also cruel.

Cold.

Jealous of the heroine.

Destined to fall.

The author leaned back slightly in her chair as the idea formed more clearly in her mind.

Readers loved contrast.

They loved heroes who shined brightly.

But they also loved villains whose downfall felt inevitable.

The stronger the villainess appeared at the beginning…

The more satisfying it would feel when she finally lost everything.

Her fingers resumed their rhythm.

Tap tap tap.

Outside the window, the wind rustled faintly through the trees lining the street.

Inside the room, the only sound was the quiet clicking of keys.

The laptop screen slowly filled with more words.

Character introductions.

Major story arcs.

Important turning points.

Every moment carefully planned.

Angelica's kindness winning hearts.

The six male leads gradually falling under her influence.

And Seraphina standing in their path like a shadow.

The author paused again, rereading what she had written.

Her heart beat a little faster.

She could already imagine readers reacting to the story.

They would love Angelica.

They would hate Seraphina.

They would cheer when justice finally came for the villainess.

A soft laugh escaped her lips.

"Yes… this will be good."

She stretched slightly in her chair, rolling her shoulders to ease the stiffness that had built from sitting too long.

The clock on the wall read 1:43 AM.

Most people would have gone to sleep hours ago.

But she felt more awake than ever.

Ideas continued forming in her mind like sparks.

Without hesitation, she leaned forward again.

Her fingers returned to the keyboard.

Tap tap tap tap.

Outside, the night continued quietly.

Unaware that inside that small apartment—

A world was being created.

Characters were being given lives.

Fates were being written.

And somewhere within those pages…

The destiny of a girl named Seraphina had just begun.
