Tenzin has never met anyone like Aanya. In the monastery, people were either peaceful or working toward peace. 
Aanya is working toward catastrophic. He is equal parts terrified of her and inexplicably, helplessly fond of her — a feeling he keeps trying to categorise as "compassion for a suffering soul" and which is becoming increasingly unconvincing.
Together they are an absolute disaster. And somehow, amid the revenge plots, the fainting spells, the prayer-bead-clutching, the Jaipur socialite drama, the suspicious family secrets, and Tenzin accidentally befriending every single member of Aanya's household staff — they are also, slowly, irrevocably, becoming each other's home.
