Whether asleep
Or awake
It screams
What is it thinking
What is it feeling
What is it dreaming
Only crying out
Moving its body
Continuing to scream
From the abyss
Or perhaps from the universe
But the scream is not meaningless
Discomfort is not meaningless either
That too
Becomes a universe
A universe of discomfort
A universe overflowing with discomfort
A screaming universe
It is not without meaning
