Emily had just finished organizing Alexander's meeting schedule when a message appeared on her phone.

"Meet me in the lobby café. Now."
Emily frowned.
"Who is this?"
Curiosity got the better of her.
She took the elevator down to the café in the lobby.
As soon as she stepped inside, she saw her.
Sophia Knight.
Sophia sat calmly at a table, sipping coffee like she owned the entire building.
Emily walked over slowly.
"You wanted to see me?"
Sophia looked up and smiled politely.
"Sit."
Emily remained standing.
"I'm working."
Sophia chuckled softly.
"You're bold. I like that."
Emily crossed her arms.
"What do you want?"
Sophia leaned forward slightly.
"I want to warn you."
Emily raised an eyebrow.
"About what?"

"Alexander."
Emily felt annoyed.
"He's my boss."

"You really believe that?"

"I've known Alexander for years. Women often misunderstand his attention."

"He gets bored easily."
