Chapter 1 - Uchiha: Rewriting a Doomed Fate

Prologue — A Cruel Rebirth

The night smelled of rain and gasoline.

Red light.

A silent intersection.

He stepped onto the road with absentminded confidence, hands in his pockets, thoughts wandering somewhere far from the dull rhythm of city life. The signal glowed crimson above him, warning traffic to stop.

It should have been safe.

Then came the sound of an engine.

Not the ordinary hum of a passing car, but the feral roar of something expensive and powerful pushed far beyond reason. Headlights burst into the intersection like twin suns, blinding and merciless.

Laughter followed.

Drunken. Careless.

Inside the speeding machine, two wealthy youths were celebrating something only they cared about, their expensive car tearing through the city streets like a toy bought with too much money and too little responsibility.

He turned his head.

For a single moment, their worlds met.

Then metal collided with flesh.

Pain flashed white.

The ground rushed upward.

Streetlights stretched across his vision like falling stars, and somewhere in the distance someone screamed.

His body felt strangely light.

Detached.

As if the world had already begun letting go of him.

His last thought was neither anger nor regret.

Only a quiet realization.

So this is how my life ends.

No lover waiting for him.

No family mourning his passing.

Just another nameless man erased by someone else's recklessness.

A lonely life ending beneath the wheels of a car.

Darkness followed soon after.

He woke to crying.

Loud.

Uncontrolled.

For a moment he wondered who was making such an embarrassing noise.

Then he realized it was him.

The sensation of breath filling tiny lungs felt wrong. His limbs moved without coordination, small and fragile. The world around him blurred with strange voices and unfamiliar warmth.

"It's a healthy boy."

Someone laughed softly nearby.

"Congratulations."

He tried to speak, to ask questions, but only infantile wails escaped his mouth.

The truth revealed itself slowly, cruelly.

He had been born again.

Time passed like drifting clouds.

Days turned into months.

Months into years.

With every passing moment the world around him became clearer.

Too clear.

The architecture. The clothing. The weapons displayed casually in markets and homes.

Kunai.

Shuriken.

Tools meant for killing.

And the people who carried them with practiced ease.

Shinobi.

The realization crept into his mind like a creeping shadow.

A name spoken casually by neighbors confirmed it.

Konoha.

Konohagakure—the Hidden Leaf Village.

The setting of the story he once watched as entertainment in his previous life.

A fictional world where children trained to become soldiers and entire villages waged silent wars beneath the surface of fragile peace.

Except now it wasn't fiction.

It was reality.

And his situation became worse when he learned his own family name.

Uchiha.

His father was not a shinobi.

Just a quiet merchant running a modest ninja tool shop near the market district.

His mother worked long hours at the medical hospital, tending to injured shinobi returning from missions.

Neither of them possessed the clan's legendary eyes.

No crimson Sharingan.

No inherited power.

Just ordinary civilians born into an extraordinary—and cursed—bloodline.

Which meant they would not survive what was coming.

Six years.

That was all the time left before the night the sky would burn.

The night when the Nine-Tails would descend upon the village and chaos would swallow everything in its path.

The event that would forever stain Konoha's history.

And years after that…

Another night.

A quieter one.

But far more terrifying.

The night when the Uchiha Clan would vanish.

Children.

Women.

Civilians who had never lifted a weapon.

All erased within a single night by the hands of one man.

Itachi Uchiha.

A prodigy praised by the village.

A loyal servant of their ideology.

The embodiment of the so-called Will of Fire.

Back in his previous life, people called that man a tragic hero.

Standing here now… knowing the fate awaiting every member of this clan…

The title sounded almost absurd.

The boy stood alone behind his family's small house, wooden training sword resting loosely in his hands.

The evening sun painted the sky in shades of orange and fading gold.

From afar, the stone faces of the Hokage watched over the village like silent gods.

Symbols of peace.

Of unity.

Of protection.

He stared at them quietly.

Then a faint smile tugged at his lips.

Not warm.

Not hopeful.

Just bitter.

Peace…

The word felt hollow.

This world was not peaceful.

It was a battlefield wearing the mask of civilization.

Villages manipulated one another.

Children were trained to become weapons.

And entire clans could be erased overnight if the political balance demanded it.

A slow breath escaped his lips.

Of all the worlds he could have been reborn into…

Of all the possibilities heaven might have chosen…

He had been thrown into one destined for war.

And into a clan fated for annihilation.

The wind rustled through the trees as the young Uchiha looked toward the fading horizon.

His eyes were calm.

Far too calm for someone his age.

"Heaven must have a strange sense of humor."

His voice was soft.

Almost amused.

Because instead of being reborn as some fortunate noble heir in a peaceful land…

He had been placed inside one of the most ill-fated bloodlines in existence.

The Uchiha Clan.

And if fate truly intended to erase them from history…

Then perhaps fate itself needed to be rewritten.
