Kaiko had no time to dodge and could only endure it head on.

After two consecutive attacks, the SSS rated Quinque was completely ruined.
Kaiko was sent flying by the terrifying blow and smashed into a wall.

Enduring the pain that felt like his entire body was shattered, Kaiko forced himself to stand.

He pulled a smoke grenade from his coat, yanked the pin, and threw it to the ground. It was concentrated RC cell suppressing smoke.

Thick white smoke instantly burst out, filling the entire room in the blink of an eye.
Without looking back, he ran. As he ran, he pulled out two more flash grenades.
Before he could pull the pins, a flash of cold light passed. The arm holding the grenades was severed cleanly at the shoulder and flew away.
Ah.
Kaiko let out a scream, stumbling and nearly falling. Blood instantly sprayed out.
It was over. He knew he could not escape. Turning his head, he saw Carnage walking out of the white smoke, completely unaffected.
Emerging from the smoke, Carnage looked like a demon from hell.
"Kaiko-san, why are you running already? Didn't you say you would take me down?"
Carnage's low voice, mixed with electronic distortion, only made it more terrifying.
