A sudden silence fell within the space as the girls just looked at me funny.
"What do you mean 'become one of Chaos's own?'" Melissa asked.
"It's a bit hard to explain, but it's basically just me giving you guys a power-up. We don't know what we'll be encountering out there, and I'd like to say I could protect all of you, but I'm not taking any chances." My voice was hard, and they seemed to have noticed.
"Dante… is something the matter?" Aunt V asked.
"It's nothing you girls have to worry about, for now." I wasn't about to tell them about the potential conceptual beings about to be on my ass when even I don't know when exactly they'll be showing up.
But what I can do is make sure the girls and the others are as ready as possible.
"Alright Dante. But how are you even going to do such a thing? You don't just give people power, right?" Mira asked.
