Chapter 4 - The Women-Conquering System Appears!

Raven frowned in confusion. Then he noticed a "Yes/No" selection column beside it.

Out of curiosity, he pressed "Yes," and the panel instantly emitted a dazzling light.

Raven covered his face to shield himself from the light. After a few moments, it faded, and he looked back at the panel.

After checking it, nothing had changed at all, except that the description had been replaced by three question marks.

Then he spotted a message icon next to the three question marks.

Without hesitation, he pressed it, and another panel appeared before him.

"[Congratulations! You have activated the Women-Conquering System! Would you like to receive the beginner's gift?]"

Raven was shocked again. "Beginner's gift? What's that?"

He hesitated to press "Yes." However, he quickly shook off his hesitation and accepted it.

A box appeared in front of him and then opened. Three golden lights emerged and transformed into three golden panels.

"[Congratulations, Host. You have obtained the Skill Appraisal (S). The reward has been granted to you!]"

"[Congratulations, Host. You have obtained 300 experience points! The reward has been granted to you!]"

"[Congratulations, Host. You have obtained 10,000 love points!]"

Seeing the series of panels, Raven was speechless. He calmed himself and began reading them one by one.

"S-rank skill, Appraisal?"

He glanced at his status panel and was shocked. An appraisal skill had indeed appeared in the "Skills" column.

"So, I'm not hallucinating, huh?" His eyes narrowed cautiously.

A mysterious system had appeared and given him free gifts, which seemed highly suspicious.

He feared that the system called "Women-Conquering" might be some kind of evil entity.

Perhaps sensing his doubt and caution, another email arrived.

Raven opened it, and the system panel appeared, filled with scolding words.

"[Host, you are so ungrateful! I gave you a gift, yet you see me as a threat. Weren't you taught to be grateful?]"

The corners of Raven's mouth twitched. He hadn't expected the system to be so emotional.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way. So… can you introduce yourself? And why don't you appear like the systems in novels? Communicating through messages feels too old-fashioned, doesn't it?" Raven asked hesitantly.

As far as he remembered, the systems in novels were incredibly sophisticated. They could aid the protagonist in the most epic ways.

Sometimes, Raven daydreamed, imagining himself as one of those protagonists.

But what could he do?

Reality was often cruel. He was just a useless failure.

DING!

Another email appeared—this time, two of them. Raven opened them, and two panels formed in front of him again.

"[My name is Arina, and I am the most powerful system in the world! However, for some reason, I cannot unleash my full power. So I need your help, Host.]"

"[I won't beat around the bush. In short, you are a bastard and a perfect match for me. Together, we will conquer the women of this universe!]"

Raven fell silent, completely losing hope in this obscure system.

Even so, he didn't reject it. Coincidentally, conquering women happened to be his specialty.

There was no harm in using this system to his advantage, right?

"Alright, I get it. So, how does it work? Explain it to me."

Another email arrived, and Raven quickly read it. It contained the rules he had to follow.

After ten minutes of poring over the long text, he finally understood.

"Conquer women with ratings from S to SSS, huh?" he muttered, rubbing his chin.

According to the system, he had to conquer women ranked from S to SSS. Of course, the ratings were entirely determined by the system.

All he had to do was win them over and make them his.

To check how far he'd progressed with his target, he simply looked at the love panel hovering above her head.

The levels were 0–10 casual acquaintance, 11–30 comfortable, 31–60 like, 61–90 love, and 100 true love.

His task was to win their hearts completely, raising the love panel to 100 points.

If he succeeded, he would receive extraordinary rewards. The system said there were two types: love points and treasure chests containing random items or skills.

The treasure chests came in three types—silver, gold, and crystal.

Love points could be spent in the system shop, which would unlock once he successfully conquered at least one woman with an S rating.

"I understand. But there's something I need to ask before I fully trust you," Raven said coldly. "Why have you bound yourself to me? And what do you gain if I succeed in conquering those S-to-SSS-rated women?"

Although the system's offer was tempting, Raven wasn't naive.

For him, there was no such thing as a free lunch in this world—not even from a system offering "help."

As the saying went, "Every good deed has a hidden motive."

By holding onto that principle, Raven could live cautiously, without fearing misfortune in the future.

DING!

Another email appeared, and Raven opened it.

"[Rest assured, Host, I have no ill intentions toward you. But I know you won't believe me that easily. So I'll be honest: what I gain from the work you do is a system upgrade. It will make me much stronger than I am now, and it will also benefit you in the future.]"

Raven remained skeptical. He wasn't sure if the system could really be so straightforward and considerate.

Even so, he had no intention of pressing further. That answer was enough to assure him that the system meant no harm.

A small smile spread across his lips as he whispered, "I understand. It's a pleasure working with you."

DING!

"[Nice to work with you! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧]"

At that moment, Malphas' cold voice broke the silence.

"Any more questions? If not, I'll officially begin the test!"
