Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 : Missing My Hundred Wives

The man in sunglasses looked at Damien in front of him and also at his data. It was a little embarrassing considering that a police officer had gotten into a fight. However, Damien had his reasons. Luckily, all of Damien's opponents were knocked out. Remembering that, the man in sunglasses immediately sat up straight and said, "Bro, you can go free on the grounds of self-defense. Oh, your skills are pretty good. And you were able to defeat all of them. That's cool," said the man with sunglasses.

Damien exhaled deeply and raised one eyebrow for a second in agreement. "Thank you," said Damien with a slight smile. Damien then shifted his gaze to the side. His handsome face looked embarrassed before he finally said, "Tell the Chief, I've decided to quit being a cop."

The man who had caught Damien's expression raised one eyebrow. "But why, bro?"

"I can't continue this job anymore and I have my own reasons. I hope you'll tell the Chief."

The man considered Damien's words until he finally sighed heavily. "All right, if that's what you want, I'll tell the Chief."

The man then shifted his attention and looked curious about how Damien had taken down all of Jim Carrey's friends. "When the fight happened, were you with other people, bro?" The man asked, folding his arms across his chest.

"Of course not. I punched them in the face one by one without mercy. Can you imagine how cool I was at that moment?" The man unconsciously nodded slowly. "I was very similar to the character Goku at that time. I even fought 10 people. They all used weapons, only I fought with my heart. How great!"

The man was stunned and shook his head as if he couldn't believe Damien's story.

"Well, I'm leaving now." Damien then stood up, followed by the man with glasses. They shook hands.

"I'll be here tomorrow to take care of my resignation papers." The man with glasses nodded in agreement. Damien then left the police station where he worked.

Watching Damien's back, the man with glasses then shouted, "Tell me about your self-defense techniques next time, bro!"

Damien waved his hand in the air in response without looking back.

He then headed to the train station. As soon as the train stopped in front of him, Damien immediately boarded it.

Damien then sat down and leaned back in his seat. The train began to move. Damien sighed heavily.

Damien's attention was drawn to a woman who appeared to be taking pictures with her boyfriend. They were joking around. Then the woman kissed her boyfriend on the cheek. Seeing this, Damien sighed heavily.

"I used to have 100 wives, but now, let alone 100, no one even wants me." Then Damien remembered Yuki who was in the hospital. The woman might have woken up. Remembering this, Damien was confused about himself. On one hand, he was ashamed of himself and Yuki, and on the other hand, he didn't want to be with that woman.

However, he had to go to the hospital. The woman must have been very shaken after seeing Han Li's power. And as for Han Li, that man would definitely come looking for him again.

Amidst the noise in Damien's mind, a woman suddenly called out to him, saying, "Hello, sir. Allow me to introduce myself. I am the assistant to the CEO of Longstar Entertainment. Do you have time to talk with me?" ....

....

Damien was currently in a cafe. In front of him sat a woman in her thirties.

"My purpose here is to offer you a role in a movie. We are missing a replacement actor, so I hope you are willing to work with us. Don't worry, we will guarantee all your needs and safety. Seeing you fight in front of the shop the other day, I was amazed by your martial arts skills." The woman then placed her business card on the table in front of Damien. "You can contact me. I look forward to seeing you on set."

Damien took the card and read it. "Okay, I'll think about it first," replied Damien. He then cleared his throat before saying, "By the way, will the movie show my face?"

The woman immediately shook her head. "Absolutely not. Your identity will remain confidential."

"I see, alright," replied Damien. The woman then stood up, followed by Damien. They shook hands and the woman immediately left Damien.

After putting the card in his jacket pocket, Damien sat down in a chair. Damien looked to the side and once again, that feeling of embarrassment returned to Damien's heart, unstoppable. ....

....

Damien was currently at the hospital. He then opened the door to Yuki's room. There, he found no one. Damien then checked the room, but he did not find Yuki.

"Has she woken up?" Damien wondered. Suddenly, Damien received a message from Yuki. She said that her condition had improved and that she had started working again today. Yuki also said that she had paid off Burneo Hospital's fees for this month. Yuki also invited Damien to meet her for dinner at a restaurant.

As soon as he finished reading the message, Damien fell silent. He immediately left the hospital and headed to the address of the assistant CEO of Longstar Entertainment. ....

....

Damien then signed the employment contract on stamped paper. He might only be a stand-in, but Damien was also part of the film and had responsibilities.

"Thank you for working with us," said the woman with a smile. "Next, you can change your clothes in the dressing room. Here are your script and role."

"Thank you." Damien then hurried to the dressing room. ....

"Camera, rolling, action!" shouted the film director.

Damien quickly attacked all the masked men in front of him with a dagger. Damien's movements were quite beautiful; he glided, jumped, and kicked his opponents. One by one, his opponents fell. A man with a gun suddenly appeared in front of Damien. Seeing this, Damien immediately opened the window and jumped from the second floor, landing on a green parachute.

"Cut!! That's great work, new stunt double!!" shouted the film director.

They all applauded Damien's hard work, which he did in just one take.

They then moved on to the next scene. Damien was now on top of a truck. Damien felt a pain in his chest, but he climbed towards the car door anyway. As soon as he reached the door handle, Damien opened it. With one blow, the man driving the car was thrown out of the car. Damien was then seen driving the car away from a group of men dressed in black who were chasing him.....

....

"Cut!" shouted the film director.

Damien took a deep breath. Damien ignored the cheers directed at him. He then headed to a room where the makeup artists began to wipe his sweat with a cloth. Damien then drank until the water bottle was half empty.

Suddenly, an elegantly dressed woman entered the room accompanied by the assistant CEO of Longstar Entertainment.

"Is Ziggy okay now? That man shouldn't have pushed himself. It's a pity he had to be treated," said the woman, then sat down on a chair in front of the dressing table. The makeup artists immediately fixed his makeup and hairstyle.

"It's okay. We already have a replacement. By the way, let me introduce him."

Damien, who heard that, immediately drank the water until it was gone. The CEO's assistant then called Damien, making Damien turn his head.

"Mr. Damien, let me introduce you to Shizuka. She is the partner of the replacement role you took."

Shizuka extended her hand to Damien. Damien accepted it and looked deeply into the woman's eyes. "Damien," he said, introducing himself.

"My name is Shizuka. And I saw the results of your fight, it was really cool!" said Shizuka. The smile on Shizuka's face made Damien immediately look away, embarrassed. Shizuka's face couldn't hide her admiration for Damien.

Suddenly, a phone rang. Damien immediately took his cell phone out of his black jacket pocket. There was a number he recognized, belonging to a spy tasked with finding out about his father's enemies.

"Mr. Damien—"

"Sorry, I have to take this call first," Damien interrupted. The man then left the room and headed to a fairly quiet park where no one could hear their conversation.

In the middle of the conversation, Damien clenched his fists. His face hardened. The hatred in his heart grew stronger. Whether at work or in real life, Damien had to do the same thing: avenge his hatred.

"Keep monitoring their movements, don't let them get away," Damien growled softly before hanging up the phone.
