My name is Lara and I leave in a world where everyone's life looks like a perfect Instagram filter.but behind my screen, there was a "GLITCH".it was a heavy restless feeling in my chest that didn't have a hashtag or a trending song.
I spent months on scrolling,
Watching everyone else tell their stories, while my own ideas felt like"DRAFTS" I was to scared to post. One night at 2:00 AM, the world doesn't need another filtered photo; it needs someone to say how it actually feels to be alive right now.
I opened a blank note on my phone. My thumbs hovered over the keypad .I didn't write about sunsets or fake smiles. I Lara, wrote about anxiety of the"seen" receipt, the loneliness of a crowded group chat, and the wild, messy dreams i hide form the world.
As I type, the glitch in my chest stopped buzzing. It turned into a rhythm.
I realized that being a writer in this generation isn't about being perfect ---it's about being the only person brave enough to keep it real when everyone else if faking it.
Thankyou
Fir reading the story .
