In a mansion up in the hill overlooking the city, What should be a quiet and harmonious evening was met with betrayal and heart break. No one would think Alex, the most powerful Jumper in the world, was currently breathing his last breath.

Moulug spoke while holding what seemed to be a sceptre in his hand, the stone atop it seems to be continuously deciphering Alex's power. As moments pass Alex seemed to get thinner by the moment, bones protruding and eyes almost popping out.
"Are you talking about connecting the portal to the universal stage? Are you mad, that will doom the world, lives will be lost and reality as you know it will shift"

Alex felt a kick landing right on the back of his head. When he turned back, he saw his fiance in the arms of his childhood best friend. Looking down he could see his fiance's heels had a bit of blood on them. I guess he knew who kicked him now.
"You lost your ambitions Alex, Who cares about all that? Once you become an elephant why should you care about the ants and trees you stomp along the way huh?"
Mat spoke with disgust painted on his face.
"If you… think so then…. why did you stay, you could've just left, both of… you could have left"
In his effort to sound brave, his voice started to crack up a bit. Weakened by the betrayal of his lover and his friend teaming up with someone who once killed a newborn infant with a smile. Right at that moment the Sceptre suddenly stopped draining him of all his power.

Cindy got out Mat's embrace, her arms started to glow grainy purple. Both her palms aimed right at Alex.

Alex's eyes changed right then. Those once pitiable, weak and hopeless eyes changed to those of a predator ready to jump on its prey. The entire mountain top started to shake. Everything in the 3 km radius was shaking hard with unparalleled pressure barring down.
"Pray that there is no life after death, pray that reincarnation is just a myth. Pray that ghost stories are just folk stories because if just one of these were true. I shall haunt you all, for all of eternity!!!"

Just like that Alex detonated his soul before Cindy got to devour it. With him went the entire mountain top. The three culprits made it out alive or they would be in the top 4 Jumpers.
"Fuck, even when defeated he had the last word"
Mat said with seething voice, visibly enraged by the last attempt from Alex. Suddenly soft arms moved around his weight like a snake ready to strangle a defenceless mouse.
"You look cute when you are angry baby. Why don't we go home and you could console this newly widowed defenceless girl"
Cindy held Met by the waist and rested her head on his back. Watching this Moulug was disgusted by the show of affection.
"Humans are truly disgusting creatures. You would even kill a friend and lover for greed and lust. I pity Alex, A hero this world never deserved deceived by the very ones he held dear"
Saying that Moulug shapeshifted into a humanoid creature with gray skin and only eyes on his face.
"In 7 days jump to the coordinates we met and the power transference ritual shall begin. I have to go, I have stayed in this dimension for too long"
After saying that the creature jumped and a portal opened and swallowed it whole. The entire world would be surprised if it were to find out that not only is Moulug not Human but one of the powerful creatures in the Jorzua City from the beta dimension.

From a far, a series of sirens and hovering vehicles could be seen closing in to the location. It would appear that Alex detonating his soul has released the same energy as a fallen one when it reaches Ethia.
"We got to go, we don't want be here when the federation gets here"
Cindy said as she held Mat's hand and took out a treasure. The moment she crushed it, it liquefied on the ground and they jumped in before the liquid quickly dried up. A few seconds after they left the, first vehicle made it to the scene at high speed, and stopped a couple of steps away from where they vanished from.
Out came a man wearing rather interesting eyewear. He lifted his hand and tapped on the watch on his wrist.
"Sir, Isn't this where the strongest jumper's residence should be?"
A voice rang in his ear in response.
"It should be. My God what the hell happened over here, was there a Type 3 fallen that jumped right in his residence?"
"Sir from what I can see something major did happen and a powerful attack was unleashed. I don't think a type 3 or 4 is capable of such destruction. There not much to see get the forensics and perhaps they have a treasure capable of deciphering what happened here"

A week passed. The ritual was a complete success. Three figures giving off frightening presence on the far mountain where no intelligent life could be seen.
" I can't believe that fool had this power and still feared breaking the seal. Goes to show great thing happen to fools while people like us who deserve it toil away"

"Ok loverbirds, have you taken care of the situation back on Ethia, Nobody suspects any foulplay?"
Mat and Cindy looked at each other before arrogance started Oozing off them.
"Humans are just sheep, when we planted evidence that Alex might have perished in a fight, they started to gravel at out feet and took us as their new savior. I'm surprised Alex never got his ego inflated with all this attention"
Not bothering with their ridiculous looks Moulog opened his palm and three golden rods with a cristal on top of them manifested.
"These are the treasures you're gonna need to break your world's seal. One in the Northern Hemisphere, one in the South and the last one is where the seal is. Be sure to level up first before you attempt this. Jumping on both hemispheres could be quite dangerous even with Alex's power backing you up."
The couple saw the Rods in Moulug's hand and greed took root. Quickly they stashed them in their space bags before heading back to Ethia.

On what seems to be once a mountain now filled with trees. Wild grass and stones. Light started to gather. Everything around that one point started to wither, all the vitality absorbed by this one point. Up above the clouds started to gather. The once blue sky now blocked and wind quickly peaking up.
The fallen nearby started to run away in the opposite direction not wishing to be near whatever was happening.

A flash of lightning hit right where the light particles were aiming at. The once vegetation rich area now barren, void of all life. Smoke all over the place making it hard to see what was happening underneath.

With every step those features receded back into him. By the time he got out of the smoke he was fully human. It looked like Alex but younger and more taller.
