When no one was looking, Nina Jacobs took Ben Stone to the mall's underground parking garage.
Although the entrances and exits of the garage were blocked by cars, it wasn't a problem to walk through the middle.
Nina Jacobs gave Ben Stone a matching set of the same raincoat and protective suit she was wearing.
"Why do I have to wear this? My mom said someone would come pick me up in a car."
Ben Stone was a little disgruntled, but he put it on anyway.
"You'll see when we get outside. Cars can't get in at all. If you want to leave this place, your only choice is to follow me."
Nina Jacobs was starting to doubt whether Ben Stone could make it the rest of the way.
Her worries, as it turned out, were not unfounded.
After a great deal of effort, the two of them finally made it out of the garage, but Ben Stone refused to go any further after just a short distance.
