*Chapter 8: Concert Chaos*
Ava spent the afternoon exploring the city, trying to distract herself from the excitement building up inside her. She wandered through the markets, browsing stalls and sampling local delicacies. The sounds and smells were overwhelming, but in a good way.
As the sun began to set, Ava met Max at the concert venue. They were seeing a local indie band, and the energy in the air was palpable. Max handed her a ticket and grinned. "Ready to rock this place?"
Ava nodded, feeling a rush of adrenaline. The music was incredible, a fusion of traditional Hungarian sounds with modern beats. Ava found herself dancing, lost in the rhythm, with Max by her side.
During a break, Max leaned in, his voice shouting over the music. "Having a good time?"
Ava nodded, her eyes shining. "Best night ever!"
Max smiled, his eyes cr crinking at the corners. "Mine too."
As the concert ended, Ava felt a pang of disappointment. She didn't want the night to end.
But Max had a surprise. "Want to grab some supper? I know a place that stays open late."
Ava's heart skipped a beat. "Sounds perfect."
They stumbled out of the venue, laughing and singing along to the music still echoing in their heads. The night air was cool, but Ava felt warm, like she was wrapped in a cozy blanket.
As they walked, Max's hand brushed against hers. Ava's heart fluttered, but she didn't pull away.
At the restaurant, they devoured plates of goulash and talked about everything and nothing. Ava felt like she'd known Max forever, like they shared a secret language.
As the night wore on, Ava realized she was falling for Max, hard. But what happened next? Would they keep dancing, or would reality intervene?
Max paid the bill, and they stepped out into the night, the city spread out before them like a canvas of possibilities.
"Want to walk with me?" Max asked, his eyes sparkling.
Ava's heart was racing. "I'd love to."
