Spring had changed the campus.
Leo noticed it on his way to the studio. The sunlight had lost its winter harshness, turning golden in the afternoons.
Bare branches were finally covered in green. Clusters of students lounged on the grass, faces tilted up, as if they'd just remembered what it felt like to be warm.
Leo kept his head down.
His final project was due in two weeks. His last exam in three. Graduation? Four.
