Just then, the continuous sound of horns from within the Celestial River Mountain Range suddenly turned mournful and desolate. Chen Che stopped in his tracks and looked up, only to see massive horns extending from the pavilions of the Celestial River Pass.
The sound waves even formed visible ripples, the reverberating air distorting with them.
Accompanied by the sound of the horns, the scattered Demon Beasts were gathered once again. Looking at the swarms of demons gathering in the sky, on the ground, and in the water, Chen Che raised an eyebrow slightly.
The countless gathered Demon Beasts launched a frenzied charge directly at the camp. The previous, much larger beast tide hadn't managed to stop the allied forces of the two sects. Now, with their numbers greatly reduced, their threat was naturally far less potent.
The Demon Beasts crashed against the camps like a tidal wave against a reef, only to be stopped directly by the Arrays set up outside each encampment.
