Although Dorona didn't know what had happened in Duoyasi Town, he knew the town was certainly in chaos—the perfect time for their assault.
"Charge in and occupy this town," Dorona ordered without hesitation.
The stopped military vehicles roared back to life, charging wildly into Duoyasi Town.
Soon, Dorona led his men into the town, but when he saw the scene inside, he was dumbfounded.
The entire town was deserted. There were no residents, nor was there any sign of anyone injured or killed in the earlier explosions.
"Check the surrounding buildings. Find anyone hiding inside," Dorona ordered.
The Boya soldiers disembarked and stormed the surrounding buildings to investigate.
Before long, the soldiers emerged from the buildings, having found nothing.
In other words, there was no one in the town.
"Something's not right." Dorona's expression grew grim.
