Luo Tian led his nine students away from the main group, quietly venturing deep into the Qiyun Mountain Range.
Watching Luo Tian depart, Liu Lu's smile grew wider.
The plan was to coordinate an attack from both the inside and out.
By then, Luo Tian and his group would be trapped in a perilous situation. For every moment the reinforcements were delayed, their danger would increase.
Liu Lu could guarantee, on his conscience, that the reinforcements would be significantly delayed.
Hu Chao looked worried but said nothing. This was a personal grudge between Luo Tian and Liu Lu, and he was unwilling to get involved.
The middle-aged mentor didn't say anything either.
They were all new Junior Tutors. Only Liu Lu was a veteran elite mentor, set to be promoted to Middle Level Tutor after the next assessment.
As long as their own interests weren't at stake, how could any of the new Junior Tutors dare to oppose Liu Lu?
…
"Master, this isn't a one-way trip, is it?"
