Isaac accepted the Magic Book, and though he hadn't yet seen if its contents would help his research, he immediately expressed his gratitude.
After all, it was a kind gesture.
"It's nothing. Just stay on the right path from now on and trade less with the Outer Gods." Olisti waved his hand, speaking in a casual tone.
"Yes." Isaac nodded firmly in agreement.
But inwardly, he disagreed. 'My dealings with the Outer Gods are hardly simple transactions. Besides, it's impossible to stop now. I've traded with them so many times and offended a great many of them. If I don't take this chance to let the snowball keep rolling...'
'...once the protection of the Gate of Legends is gone, I'll probably be blown to bits!'
