Su Yu, held protectively in Shengqing's arms, froze. Lan Qi and Huai Xu's expressions were exceptionally grim.
Huai Xu stepped forward and took Su Yu from his arms. Lan Qi couldn't hold it in any longer. He pointed at Hong Ya, who was teasing Shan Nai and Sha Tang, and burst out, "Yu Yu has been worried sick about you, unable to sleep or eat! And you? You're out here fooling around!"
"And you even brought her back to our den! Shengqing, you've really got some nerve! How could you do this to Yu Yu?!"
Su Yu was dumbfounded and quickly tried to explain for Shengqing. "No, it's not what you think."
"Yu Yu, you don't have to defend him. I just heard from Bai Hao that she was crying and demanding he take responsibility!" Lan Qi said, his face dark.
Su Yu's head whipped around to look at Bai Hao, who was cowering to one side.
Bai Hao quickly raised both hands. "I did say that, yes, but I hadn't finished speaking! The moment you all returned, he just flew off the handle."
