Everyone else made their distaste for her perfectly clear, yet she remained completely unfazed.
Actually, Aria Sterling wasn't unfazed. Damian Xavier was the man she liked; how could she feel nothing? She wasn't a puppet.
"You refused to have dinner with me just so you could eat with her?" Zoe Alden asked.
'How did I get dragged into this?'
Aria Sterling saw Zoe Alden staring at her and, not to be outdone, stared right back.
'She could stare at me all she wanted, but she couldn't stare at Damian.' Aria Sterling clenched her fists, worried Zoe Alden would take Damian away from her.
Zoe Alden looked at Aria Sterling, her eyes filled with contempt and ridicule as a mocking smile touched her lips.
"I really don't know how someone like you can eat here. Are you being kept? Hmm?" Zoe Alden recalled the image of Aria Sterling and Damian Xavier appearing together last time, and it made her want to shatter it with a punch.
