The shock felt around the world was indescribable.
In times of peace, Aerospace Carriers existed only in science fiction films. Perhaps some major nations had PowerPoint presentations for them, like Country C's South Celestial Gate project, but they were a long way from being realized. The technical hurdles involved were far too numerous.
And yet, only a few short years had passed since the Apocalypse began. While the quality of life for most had declined, human technology had, paradoxically, made monumental breakthroughs.
The debut of the Cloud Whale Aerospace Carrier alone had been enough to stun the world. And now, an Exotic Beast version of a Stellar Mother Ship, three to four hundred kilometers long, had actually ascended into orbit.
Three hundred kilometers long! Could you even imagine? What kind of engines would it take to propel that?
