A figure in a baseball cap sat at a window seat in the coffee shop, dressed in a gray baseball jacket. He occasionally stirred the coffee in front of him, letting the hot steam drift into the air.
His gaze was fixed on the Jinggang Chamber of Commerce building at the end of the road. His voice traveled silently through his wireless earpiece. "Raccoon Cat, let's say I back out. You'd come after me, wouldn't you?"
"Heh."
A magnetic male voice replied through the earpiece.
"It's been a while. I see you're still the same pain in the ass."
"If I recall correctly, you have a bone to pick with the Jinggang Chamber of Commerce as well, don't you?"
His voice was calm, with no deliberate provocation.
