Seeing this, Nina Donovan popped the candy in her hand into her mouth as well. Her voice was a little muffled. "You like this milk candy too?"
Zane Wyatt narrowed his eyes. "I don't like candy."
"Huh?" Nina looked at him, confused.
Zane just smiled without explaining further.
He just remembered that Nina liked this kind of milk candy.
With the candy in his mouth, Zane hesitated over and over before finally working up the courage to ask, "Nina, have you really forgotten about what happened when you were five… that…"

Nina called back, "Coming!"
She turned to Zane, confused. "What were you going to ask?"
Zane sighed softly and shook his head. "It's nothing. Go on, they need you."
