Watching from a distance, Hazel Shaw sighed, at a loss for words. She turned to Jasper Sherwood and said, "What a bunch of lunatics. Wasn't Vivian Sterling chasing you just a while ago? Why the sudden change of heart, coming here to atone before Leon Grant?"
Jasper Sherwood's face was impassive. "Is it really that surprising they're this unhinged? It's not like we just met them. Besides, I think Vivian Sterling is most likely just pretending to be crazy."
Ian Donovan started walking forward. "We'll know if we go take a look."
The other two followed right behind him.
Vivian Sterling was a mess of laughter and tears, utterly deranged.
Hazel Shaw frowned. "Vivian Sterling, did you have anything to do with Asher Huxley's death?"
As if she hadn't heard a word, Vivian Sterling clutched the hem of Leon Grant's shirt. "Leon, forgive me. Leon, I'm here to keep you company. Don't be scared."
