Jasper Sherwood was wearing a long gray overcoat over a black shirt, looking tall and distinguished.
He waved at Nina Donovan. "Come here."
Nina Donovan, however, was staring blankly at his head.
His black hair, which used to reach his eyebrows, was completely gone.
He had shaved it into a buzz cut, close to the scalp.
It was a hairstyle that should have been completely unflattering.
But his handsome features somehow managed to pull it off.
It wasn't ugly at all. In fact, it gave him a more rugged look, accentuating his striking features.
He rubbed his head, a little self-consciously. In his twenty-eight years, this was the first time he'd ever gotten this kind of haircut.
He cleared his throat. "It's just a new hairstyle. Are you that stunned?"
Nina Donovan looked at his face and couldn't help but burst out laughing. Pointing at Jasper Sherwood's head, she giggled, "Jasper Sherwood, you look so ugly! Why would you get a haircut like that? It's not good-looking at all."
