Vivek's world was filled with immense sorrow. When Swani learned of his condition, she went to his house to meet him. She expressed her condolences regarding his mother's death. The next day, she called Vivek to the college canteen to discuss something important. There, she confessed her feelings to him. However, Vivek's world was already upside down; he left without saying a word.
During this encounter, Kabir took photos and showed them to Vani. Vani began to regret ever loving such a "low-life." She wanted to confront Vivek and give him a piece of her mind. Kabir manipulated her, convincing her that marrying him (Kabir) would be the ultimate revenge against Vivek. Kabir had successfully won Vani's trust, while her faith in Vivek was completely shattered.
The Wedding Betrayal
Then came the day of Kabir and Vani's wedding. Vani had convinced herself that Vivek could offer her nothing; he didn't even have enough money for two square meals, so how could he keep her happy? She began to hate Vivek and started "loving" Kabir, though only for his wealth.
When Vivek found out about the wedding, he rushed to the wedding venue (mandap) without a second thought. The bodyguards tried to stop him, but he pushed past everyone to move forward. The garland ceremony was about to take place. As Vivek reached out to take Vani's hand, Kabir kicked him. In a fit of rage, Vivek beat Kabir severely.
But the moment Vivek grabbed Vani's hand, she screamed at him, "How dare you hit my future husband!"
Vivek was stunned. The same Vani who loved him immensely and hated Kabir yesterday was now calling Kabir her husband. While Vivek was still processing this, Vani slapped him hard. Vivek felt the ground slip from beneath his feet. Vani humiliated him further, telling him she wouldn't spend a single moment with a "beggar" like him, let alone her whole life. She then had the bodyguards beat Vivek mercilessly.
The Aftermath
Everyone present laughed at Vivek. They beat him with shoes and eventually threw him onto a pile of garbage outside. Vani and Kabir were the happiest of all, while Vivek's world was totally destroyed.
When Swani found out about everything, she took Vivek to the hospital. He was unconscious and had sustained many injuries. While Vani was happily celebrating her marriage, Vivek lay in a hospital bed. Kabir's plan had succeeded.
Two days later, Vivek was discharged from the hospital. He learned that Vani and Kabir were officially married. Swani sat him down and made him understand one thing: No matter what it took, Vivek now needed revenge.
