Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — The Unrecorded Twin

Heliovar Prime did not sleep.

The capital of the Eastern Dominion burned in permanent golden light, powered by orbital Solar Arrays and the spiritual reactors of the Vardhan Clan.

Fifty years after the Great Awakening, power defined existence.

And among the Four Supreme Clans that ruled the world, the Vardhan Clan stood as one of the strongest.

At its center—

Patriarch Raghav Vardhan, Rank 14 — High Saint.

A living pillar of the Solar Path.

Inside the Solar Birth Pavilion, spiritual resonance arrays activated simultaneously.

Twin pulses.

Identical origin signatures.

The physicians stepped back as golden spiritual light surged through the chamber.

The first infant cried loudly.

A stable solar wave radiated outward, clear and resonant.

A crystalline aptitude sphere descended from the ceiling.

Runes ignited.

Energy stabilized.

The result projected into the air.

SSS.

The chamber fell silent.

Then—

Several elders inhaled sharply.

SSS-Grade.

Pure Solar affinity.

Even within a Supreme Clan, that level appeared perhaps once in generations.

Patriarch Raghav's gaze remained steady.

But the pressure in the room shifted.

The future heir had appeared.

The child was wrapped in silk threaded with spirit-gold.

The Solar Crest was marked upon his blanket.

Name inscribed immediately into the inner registry:

Arjun Vardhan.

Heir Apparent.

Then—

The second twin was brought forward.

He did not cry loudly.

His breathing was steady.

His eyes were open.

Observing.

The same aptitude sphere descended.

Runes ignited again.

This time—

The resonance flickered.

Spiked.

Collapsed.

Stabilized.

The projection formed.

F.

The light dimmed.

An elder recalibrated the sphere manually.

Test repeated.

Result unchanged.

F-Grade Aptitude.

Minimal spiritual response.

One physician spoke cautiously.

"There was a brief anomaly spike before suppression."

Another elder responded evenly.

"Residual twin resonance."

Silence filled the chamber.

No outrage.

No emotional reaction.

Only calculation.

Two twins.

One SSS.

One F.

In a Rank 20-capped world where Supreme Clans held Rank 14–16 beings as strategic deterrents, reputation was not vanity.

It was survival.

A Supreme Clan producing an F-Grade heir would not weaken their power.

But it would weaken perception.

And perception invited political pressure.

Patriarch Raghav Vardhan finally spoke.

"Record only one heir."

No one questioned him.

The decision was not cruel.

It was efficient.

The second infant was wrapped in plain cloth.

No crest.

No registry entry.

No Solar mark.

He was removed from the inner pavilion before the celebrations began.

Outside the Solar Citadel, beneath the shadow of energy towers and aerial patrol constructs, supply transports moved toward the Lower Ring districts.

A small life was transferred quietly into civilian registry.

Status:

Abandoned — Unknown Parentage.

Assigned to:

Sector Nineteen Orphan Annex.

Inside the citadel, fireworks ignited.

Golden waves illuminated the sky.

The world celebrated the birth of Arjun Vardhan — SSS Heir of the Solar Crown.

No one noticed the brief secondary resonance that flickered across the clan's detection arrays hours later.

It was logged as distortion.

Then erased.

In a dim orphan facility beneath the outer sectors, an infant lay in a steel crib beneath flickering lights.

No surname.

No crest.

No protection.

Only silence.

And eyes that did not close easily.

The Solar Clan secured its future.

The unrecorded twin began his life without a name.
