The sky was dark red, full of mystery beyond my own imagination, throughout the city that used to be beautiful, how it looked so destroy and covered in plantation that fill with silent that echo upon every step I take..
Her name... will be called Anna, She's currently 14 years of age, hair short but dark as the night sky, eyes that looks like a ruby that shine bright with joy.. but within, it's fill with emptiness that awaits for her own death and a body that looks like a doll..
Having no smile across her face, She seems to be hiding from something that dwells within the mist, full with murderous glazes, hungry to devour anything or anyone within its sight, fill with endless of raiser sharp teeth, its claws slowly drags across the walls, she had to listen to the hollow pain of its desperation. As the hungry kept growing, unfortunately it couldn't hear nothing nor notices her presence, the monster began to roam throughout the dim fogged.
Anna came out from where she was hidden and slowly follows the monster from a very far distance, moving carefully and quiet with her mind racing to be free from this nightmare, her only goal and dream was to find a place filled with a bed of flowers, butterflies and survivors so she could be finally feel at home, an image of a paradise that look so beautiful that nobody wouldn't dare to leave it behind.
Continuing her steps, only following the sound of the monster footsteps, feeling tired but never give in to the temptation to rest, she stopped for a moment as soon as the echo became silent, fear would build up her anxiety with thoughts of the monster noticing her presence from afar. slowly as she took a couple of steps back, she began to turn her back away from where the monster has stopped, to run in a different direction, while running, she saw a deformed shadow that slowly approaching towards her.
she couldn't believe her chances to meet this encounter, her legs began to falter as she tripped and fall on the ground, fear of death was closing in, her heart and breath felt as heavy when the shadow slowly grew larger, all she could do is smile and laugh to herself, knowing that this is the end of her journey. before the monster could be visible in her view of sight, the deformed shadow disappear without a sound or trace. she blow a sigh of relief as she barely stand to continue from where she was going, not towards from where the monster disappear from but she walk down a different path that seems to be endless.
meanwhile as her step grew lighter, drowning in sleep she couldn't kept herself awake for long, but her eyes locked on to something or someone that walked in a different direction from where she was going. She rubbed her eyes twice, just reassuring that it's not an illusion. she couldn't shout nor threw something to drawn his attention toward her direction, but cried to herself, knowing that it could be another monster or someone that has no humanity left in them.
Anna hesitates for a moment, wanted to rush herself too see if it's actually a person or not, without a second thought as the curiosity continue to crawl on her as the person drifted away. She wasn't far from its path, so she decide to take a gamble and walk toward the same direction, slowly but surely walking through the empty street, hearing the soft cries from monsters, dying, fighting, eating, roaring and destroying everything that came across in there path. continuing through the empty streets, admiring the surroundings of trees to many different plants, the longer she walk, feeling the disconnection within her body, only listening to the beats of her own heart, she soon realize that something was wrong, she could no longer move nor hearing the hollow cries from those demonic creatures.
She felt trap as the vines wrapped around her whole body, slowly as it tighten itself as she desperately struggle to breathe, her vision turns a bit blurry as the plantation monster shown itself to devour her, Anna slowly began passing out, knowing that this is the end of her journey...
No one to call out...
couldn't break free from this entanglement..
there's nothing left for her anymore...
She forces herself to open her eyes, feeling as it is going to pop out, crying in blood, she barely manage to see something walking towards her, in her last dying breath, she desperately tried to called for help, she end up coughing blood as she fully pass out. time and time again, it continue to carried on this hellish life, Anna felt relief that the pain has finally disappear, she thought that everything is finally over and she could await to live another life, free from this nightmare.
A moment of silent as she heard and felt something hitting her face and body, The weather darken even more as rain began to fall, she realize that she isn't dead and slowly open her bloody eyes, barely breathing as she struggles to lift herself up, she saw many corpses of monsters everywhere, she couldn't move her arms to cover herself from the stench of blood. Her heart skip a beat as she heard footsteps slowly approaching towards her, All she could do now is to pray that it's not a monster but something that's friendly.
She turned her head over to see a guy who wears a mask that's covering his face but his clothes was covered in monster blood, a similar glow that shine upon her as she came face to face with the person that save her life, her vision became blurry again as she passed out right into his arms, she only heard a whisper from her ear, saying:
"there's nothing to be afraid now, you're safe with me"
