The atmosphere inside the training facility had completely transformed.
What had initially begun as a simple class exercise had somehow become the most entertaining event of the morning.
Students no longer stood around discussing weapons or complaining about Garrick's lesson. Instead, nearly all of their attention remained focused upon a single chamber where Eric continued fighting for his life.
Or more accurately—
Running for his life.
Meanwhile, behind the mana barrier, Eric stared at the newly materialized construct as though fate itself had personally decided to ruin his day.
The first construct had already been difficult enough.
This one was worse.
Much worse.
The humanoid stood nearly half a head taller than the previous opponent while a massive two-handed blade rested comfortably upon its shoulder. Its body appeared bulkier, the mana circuits embedded throughout its frame glowed brighter, and even its mere presence felt considerably more oppressive.
