Ali lived in a small village with his mother. Their house was made of mud, and every day was a struggle. His mother worked very hard, but still, they often did not have enough money for food and clothes. Even in difficult times, his mother always taught him one important lesson: "Never take what is not yours."
One afternoon, while returning from the market, Ali noticed a brown wallet lying near a tree. He picked it up and opened it. His eyes widened in surprise — the wallet was full of money. For a moment, his heart beat faster. He thought about the medicine his mother needed and the new books he wanted for school.
But then he remembered his mother's words. Keeping the wallet would be wrong. The money did not belong to him.
Ali began asking people in the market if anyone had lost a wallet. After some time, he saw an old man sitting on a bench, looking worried and tired. The man said he had lost his wallet, which contained money for his daughter's wedding. Ali quickly took out the wallet and gave it to him.
The old man's eyes filled with tears of relief and happiness. He thanked Ali again and again and offered him a reward. At first, Ali refused, but the old man insisted and gave him a small amount of money as a blessing.
When Ali returned home and told his mother everything, she hugged him proudly. That night, even though their house was small and simple, Ali felt richer than ever — not because of money, but because of his honesty.
