"Alright, young man, His Majesty allowed me to prepare these items for you. Twenty silver, a day's worth of food, a spare change of clothing, a map, and a book with all the basic knowledge you should know about this world. I won't pretend to understand why you wish to go down this path, but be careful. If anyone finds out you are a summoned hero, they will try to take advantage of you...especially those demons," the advisor explained as he handed Haruto a bag filled with items and a small coin pouch.
"Thank you. I will keep all of that in mind… oh, also, when those guys finally return to my world, could you have them give this to my family?" Haruto said as he handed the man a note.
"What is this?"
"Just some things I should have said," Haruto replied.
"Very well, I will keep it safe. This guard will escort you out. Good luck, young Oda," the man spoke with a slight bow before turning around and leaving.
"If you would please follow me," the guard dressed in full silver armor said.
Following behind the guard, Haruto made his way out of the large castle. Stepping outside, he took a deep breath of the fresh air and sighed.
"Much cleaner than back home," Haruto muttered.
"Oh, uh, could you point me in the direction of an inn?" Haruto asked.
"Yes. Just keep walking straight, and once you see a restaurant with a golden dragon sign, make a left. You will find the Silver Boar Inn," the guard explained.
"Thank you," Haruto said, giving a small bow before walking away.
Once he left the castle grounds, Haruto enjoyed the fresh air...but that joy quickly faded as he had to pass through a crowded market.
(I don't even know this place, so I can't just take another path.) Haruto thought with a sigh.
Deciding to power through, he walked through the crowd, keeping his head down and moving as quickly as he could without using too much effort.
Finally getting past the large crowd, Haruto pumped his fist into the air.
(Zero problematic interaction: +50 points to Haruto.) He thought with a grin as he continued forward.
Following the directions the guard gave him, Haruto arrived at the inn without much trouble. Walking inside, he saw it was mostly empty except for a young man cleaning a table.
"Ah, welcome to the Silver Boar Inn. How may I help you?" the young man asked.
"How much for a room for a week with food included?" Haruto asked.
"That will be four silver coins," the young man said as he stepped behind the counter.
Taking out his coin pouch, Haruto placed the four silver coins down.
"Thank you. This will be your room key. It's on the second floor, door number three," the man explained as he handed Haruto a key.
(Stairs… damn it.)
"Thank you."
"No problem. My name is Albert. Just let me know if you need anything," Albert said with a smile.
"Will do… also, could you have the food brought to my room? I'm not one for public areas," Haruto said as he made his way upstairs.
Unlocking the door and walking in, he saw the room was plain — a bed, a closet, and a desk. Closing the door, Haruto placed his things on the floor and lay on the bed. It was surprisingly soft for the time period, but it still didn't compare to the one he had back home.
[You have left the path of the noble hero]
[You have gained the attention of the god of Sloth]
[You have gained the Sloth Hero System]
[Congradulations]

"No thanks, I'm good," Haurot said as he turned away from the suddenly appearing flashing screens and tried to fall asleep
[What? But this is a one in a life thims chance]
"Yeah, but you see how you still have hero in your title, that means you want something from me," Haruto replied
[Yes, law of equivalent exchange, but I am mostly here to aid you]
"Nope, I'm good,"
[But I have given you skills, weapons, and many things to make it so much easier]
"No,"
[...You truly are the perfect host. But I guess, since you don't want it, I will have to give the Nimbus Cloud to someone else....a shame, you would never have to walk again.]
Hearing that, Haruto's ear perked up as he turned to face the system.
"Okay, you have my attention, you really have a nimbus cloud?" Haruto asked as he imagined himself floating in the air away from people without any effort
[Yes, but that is only one of the few things I can offer you]
"Alright, I will hear you out, but what is it you want from me?" Haruto asked
[My lord wishes for you to will the demon general of lust for sleeping with his daughter and the demon lord of greed for stealing his most prized possession.]
"Hmm, that seems like alot and I mean alot of trouble for just a nimbus cloud, and let's say by some miracle I kill two, won't the rest try to kill me?" Haruto asked
[True, but please look at the blessing my lord gave you before you make up your mind]
"...This really sounds like a drag, but fine if it's worth it,"
[Great]
[I have four main functions]
[Status: Tracks the host physcial and magical abilities and attributes]
[Inventory: A subspace the host can use to store any number of items]
[Shop: Used to purchase items at a higher quality than those that can be found naturally from both this world and your world]
[Gacha: A randomized acquisition function that converts gold into items, equipment, summons, or special resources with variable rarity and outcome]
"You have a Gacha function...alright, system, you might actually be some fun," Haruto said with a grin
[Of course
[A/N: Clearly a gacha gambler such as myself]
"Alright, show me my status," Haruto said as he focused up
Status
Name: Haruto Oda
Age:17
Class: SlothHero
Level 1 EXP:50/100
Health: 100/100Mana: 500/500
Strength: 6Agility: 7Endurance: 7Perception: 6Intelligence: 7Spirit: 5
Skills: None
Innate Skills:Sin of Sloth [Lv. 1: +10 EXP per minute / +5% EXP efficiency for every 10 consecutive minutes without direct action / Direct physical combat temporarily reduces passive gain rate]
Clone [Lv. 1: +1 identical clone of the host. Clone possesses 100% of the host's current stats and learned skills. Clone cannot use [Clone] or [Sin of Sloth]. Clone does not feel pain, fear, or fatigue. Clone persists until dismissed or destroyed. Upon destruction: clone disperses into smoke. 24-hour cooldown before the clone slot can be recreated.]
Assimilation Effect (Passive): Upon destruction, all accumulated EXP, skill proficiency, combat data, and magic refinement return to the host. The host experiences all suppressed pain sensations during transfer. Assimilation duration: 5 seconds.
(Wait… passive experience gain? Clones do my work for me. The pain is a drawback, but this allows peak rewards with no effort on my part… This is totally worth it. Better than fighting directly like my classmates.) Haruto thought with a massive grin.
"System, don't worry. You've got yourself a deal," Haruto said with a grin that seemed almost villainous.
[I knew you would agree after seeing this😏]
