Prologue: The Chessboard
It was a dark night. The waves of Mumbai's sea were louder than usual, as if warning of an approaching storm.
In the city's most luxurious penthouse, a man sat in the shadows. A chessboard was placed before him. He picked up the black queen and dropped it firmly in the middle of the board.
"The game has begun," his voice was cold and emotionless.
