Chapter 7 - Sister!

More than a month had passed since the Third Hokage promised Alex that he would arrange for him to learn the Eight Gates from Might Guy.

And yet—nothing happened.

No summons.

No instructions.

No green-clad lunatic bursting into his training ground.

At first, Alex assumed the old man had simply forgotten.

Only later did he learn the truth: Might Guy was still out on a mission.

So on this particular day, Alex didn't head to the Hokage Cliff as usual.

Instead, he stayed home.

Uchiha Residence

Outside the house, Yasushi Uchiha paced back and forth anxiously, his steps fast and uneven. Beside him, Alex mirrored the motion, walking in circles with a tense expression.

From inside the room came muffled voices.

"Deep breath… harder… ma'am, push harder! The baby is coming!"

Yes.

Misa was in labor.

The voices inside only made the two men outside walk faster.

Yasushi suddenly stopped, turned, and glared at Alex.

"Why the hell are you pacing around like that?!" he snapped, raising his fist and smacking Alex on the head.

"I wasn't even this nervous when your mother gave birth to you! And she's not even your wife!"

A sharp pain shot through Yasushi's hand.

"…Ow."

This brat's head was way too hard.

Alex clutched the swelling bump on his head, tears almost forming in the corners of his eyes.

That hurt way more than it should have…

She was his mother too—of course he was nervous.

But seeing Yasushi's murderous glare, Alex wisely chose silence.

Arguing now would only earn him another beating.

Time dragged on painfully.

Each second felt like a minute.

Each minute felt like an hour.

Then—

"WAHHHH—!"

The sharp cry of a newborn pierced the air.

Both Yasushi and Alex froze.

Their tense throats finally relaxed.

Not long after, the midwife stepped out with a smile.

"Congratulations," she said. "Mother and child are safe. It's a girl."

Alex felt his chest warm instantly.

On Earth, he had grown up as an only child.

Back then, he never envied siblings—only saw them quarrel and fight.

But only after growing up did he understand how lonely it felt to have no one truly by your side.

Now…

He had a sister.

Inside the room, Misa rested weakly on the bed.

In Yasushi's arms, a tiny baby slept, brows furrowed as if trapped in a bad dream. Her small hands twitched restlessly.

Alex suspected it wasn't a nightmare—

Yasushi was simply holding her awkwardly.

Misa smiled gently when she saw Alex.

"Alex," she whispered. "You have a little sister. Come… hold her."

Alex carefully took the baby into his arms.

The moment he did, the tiny movements calmed.

Looking down at her peaceful sleeping face, Alex felt something settle deep in his chest.

I won't let history repeat itself.

No matter what happens in the future… I'll protect her.

"Does she have a name?" Alex asked softly.

"What?" Yasushi shot him a sideways glance, smiling coldly.

"You want to name her?"

Alex immediately felt a dangerous killing intent.

So this is what they mean when they say daughters are their father's lovers from past lives…

"Uchiha Akemi," Yasushi finally said.

And just like that, Alex had a younger sister.

Training Continues

Akemi's birth didn't slow Alex's training.

If anything, it fueled him.

A few days later, Might Guy returned to the village.

To Alex, it was nothing short of double happiness.

Foot of Hokage Cliff

On the third morning after Guy's return, the Third Hokage and Guy were already waiting.

"You're sure your disciple wants to learn from me?" Guy asked.

"He's not learning taijutsu," Hiruzen replied calmly.

"He's learning the Eight Gates."

As they spoke, Alex arrived.

The man before him wore a bright green jumpsuit, sported a bowl-cut, and had thick eyebrows that could frighten children.

It's him…

The man Kisame called the 'Konoha's Noble Green Beast'.

The Third Hokage gave brief instructions and left—

very decisively.

That old man is way too irresponsible…

Guy turned, grinning brightly.

"Yo! Young man! One cannot learn the Eight Gates without a solid taijutsu foundation! Come—let's have a youthful spar!"

Before Alex could reply, Guy raised a thumb, his teeth sparkling unnaturally.

Alex didn't say a word.

He simply stepped forward and punched Guy straight in the face.

"Excellent!" Guy laughed.

"This is youth!"

—ZZ!

BOOM!

Alex's fist was caught mid-air.

The next moment—

BAM!

Guy's punch buried itself into Alex's stomach.

Alex's eyes bulged. His body folded, and he collapsed onto the ground, gasping.

It took him a long time to sit up.

Covering his stomach, he glared up bitterly.

"Teacher Guy… I'm six years old. This is child abuse."

"Hahaha—sorry! Sorry!" Guy scratched his head.

"You just looked perfect for a punch!"

After some rest, Guy nodded thoughtfully.

"For your age, your taijutsu is already excellent. But Eight Gates requires more."

Alex clenched his fists.

"Then let's start training."

Guy's eyes shone.

"This enthusiasm… this is YOUTH!"

Hell Begins

"One hundred laps around Konoha!" Guy shouted.

"Then five hundred palm push-ups!"

And so it began.

Day after day, the villagers saw two figures outside Konoha—

running, handstanding, training relentlessly.

Guy even tried to give Alex a green jumpsuit.

Alex refused with his entire soul.

"Even if you beat me to death, I'm not wearing that."

I'm still young. I refuse to become green this early.
