Chapter 23 The Title of Justice
The God-King in the cloud-like space had a serious expression, and his look was indescribably unpleasant.
The Nisi tribe, representing the golden humans, rebelled against the Titans and brought glory to the region.
The sun disappears there, a place even Helios would not go, a land forsaken by the gods.
The twelve Titans gathered on the mountain to discuss how to deal with them.
Cronus struck the king's scepter heavily, and the council chamber of the gods appeared before them.
The Titans found their seats and took their places.
"The Nisi people have rebelled against the God who created them. Now let us discuss how to deal with them!" The God-King's majestic voice resounded throughout the entire temple.
"Send down disaster and destroy them," Thea said cruelly in a calm tone.
A single word from God can change someone's entire life.
"They simply no longer worship the Titans, why destroy them?" Iapetus replied immediately. As the progenitor of mankind, he was one of the twelve main Titan gods, yet he still enjoyed the veneration of the Nisi.
Cronus glanced at Iapetus.
"Iapetus, shut up!"
Iapetus wanted to retort, but the king of space was already displeased.
"Then let us withdraw the Titan's blessing!" Cleos interjected coldly from the side.
Iapetus could accept this, since he could still enjoy the power of the Nisi people's faith.
He was intoxicated by the divine power of the Supreme God at its peak, and he did not want to lose the divine power he had already obtained.
Kronos clearly didn't like the suggestion, his face cold.
If they dare to rebel against the Titans now, they'll dare to attack the Titan race next time.
"Boguras almost died at the hands of Nisi. If it weren't for the protection of the laws, he would have already gone to see the father god Chaos. This time it's Boguras, but once this human tribe develops, the Titans will be next." Cronus warned alarmistly.
The Titan gods knew that Cronus was talking nonsense in order to deceive the senses of the weaker Titans.
The other Titans believed that Crios's suggestion was the best course of action.
"Cronus, stop spreading alarmist rumors. We think Crios's proposal is already quite good. Just take back our blessing. After all, it was Iapetus and the Earth Mother who gave us life. We have no right to wipe out the Nisi people," said the Father of the Ocean.
Cronus's expression grew increasingly grim, but clearly the other Titan gods held differing opinions.
The just Themis and the goddess of memory did not care about the punishment of the Nisi.
The other gods, however, did not believe it was necessary to exterminate them all.
A ruthless glint flashed in Cronus's eyes.
"Cronus, remember that your faith comes from humans!" Tethys added from the side.
The human race on the land was at its zenith.
...
In the blood-soaked valley, the flock of feathers called out to Themis.
"Great Goddess of Justice, come to our side! A just judgment is your supreme glory. Bring a just outcome to the Feathered Clan!" Merisdre swore by her divine authority.
High above the clouds, Themis heard the gods' plea for justice.
"Cronus, let's stop here. The goddess of justice only recognizes reasonable laws. Even if you are the king of gods, you should not arbitrarily impose punishments."
"I second that!" the Titans responded.
Punishment is etched on the scales of justice.
In that instant, all the blessings left the Nisi people.
The once young "shamans" aged rapidly.
After concluding the council of the Titans, Themis went before the gods who had called her.
The faces were ravaged, and the stench of blood was ever-present.
"Merisdre of the White Dove, I know of the justice you have called upon me for. Now, I will judge you!"
In order to uphold justice and fairness, Themis was happy to put Chaos to trial.
Themis flew slowly through the sky, bathed in divine light.
"I am Themis, the goddess of justice, and I will deliver a just judgment for the Feathers and the Nisi!"
Themis's eyes were covered by a white cloth, and she held a sword and scales in her hands.
"The Nisi clan cruelly slaughtered the Qunyu clan; this is their original sin!" The scales slid heavily to the right, and a pair of black and red wisps of energy condensed within them.
"The Feathered Clan slaughtered the Nisi Clan, leaving only a few dozen women in the Nisi Clan!" A portion of the dark red substance on the scales was cut away by the sword, and it slowly rose upwards.
"The rooster Bogulaas harmed the Nisi people, which is the original sin!" The feathers on the scales slowly faded away, leaving only the rooster Bogulaas.
The scales suddenly sag towards the Boculus side.
The judgment is complete.
"In the name of the goddess of justice and righteousness, I strip Boculas of his divine status and power, reducing him to a demigod for 4,651 days and nights, corresponding to the lives lost by the Nisi people."
"His divine power was bestowed upon the Nisi and the Feathered Clan!"
"I have decreed that the remaining members of the Nisi tribe will lose their fertility and youth, and will repent for their deeds in their dreams every night."
"I have decided that the Feathered Clan will restore the land to its original state and bring life back to the plains."
"The Laws bear witness!"
Golden light cascaded down onto the stone slab inscribed with mysterious runes of law.
The law is constantly being shaped by justice.
In the distance, Boculus, the rooster, suddenly coughed up a mouthful of blood, his divine power being eroded by four-fifths once again.
The remaining "shamans" of the Nisi tribe on the earth kowtowed heavily, thanking Themis for her just judgment.
The feathered flock also accepted Themis's judgment.
Tima, standing behind the flock of feathers, looked at Themis with bloodshot eyes.
Themis lamented the narrow-mindedness of the space, but felt even more sorry for the Lord of the Feathers.
Upon seeing this, Themis gently touched Tima, restoring her clarity.
The bone wings faded, and pure feathers grew back; the demon's horns also disappeared.
It has been restored to its original, pure state.
Looking at everything before me, I felt a little dazed.
"Tima, obey the judgment of the goddess of justice
