As he looked through the window, airships passed,cable cars moved and the sound of partues echoed through the walls of his room. He turned,to the girl lying on the bed sighed before leaving the room.
As he walked through the hallway,a guard directs him into another room and stands guard outside.
"Sir..."
"Oh,son... you're here"
He stood upright and didn't let his gaze meet the mans'
"How is she?"
"She's still unconscious but stable..."
"How many years has it been?"
"12 years now "
Both of them let out a sigh before resuming their discussion.
"The reason why I called you today is to give you a short break. "
"What?,why sir"
"You have been with her since your childhood,even refusing to go to school for her. So it would be better to take a day off "
"O-okay..."
He turns and leaves and the guard accompanies him as he exits.
"Um,sir... I don't mean to Intrude,but I think the boss is right. You need a break too"
He turns and pats her on the head.
"Thanks..."
He heads back into the room and sits beside the girl
"Ruby... I guess I won't see you for a day now... But I promise to come back immediately after I'm done "
He exits, followed by his guard who was also exiting the building

Despite that, South Korea stood out, being the only country unable to use magic. The very first rumors of magic found in the country was ruby,who has been asleep for twelve years after discovering her affinity for magic. Her childhood friend Arthur Winstanley stood by her side guarding her unconscious body from assassins until now
"Sir... the CEO needs you in his office now"
What? It hasn't been up to fifteen minutes since I left the building
Arthur walked back Into the building and noticed the sudden commotion in the building.as he walked to the office, he's ambushed by special sect assassins and pinned down. As he struggled, confused by what was going on, the CEO walked to him
"Arthur,tell me you are innocent.. please"
"S-sir?"
His voice suddenly faded as he was injected with something. As he struggled,his boss turned and left,leaving him in the hands of the assassins
By the time he woke up the next day,he was imprisoned in the sea prison,used for death row criminals with his guard beside him unconscious and bleeding.
"..."
He tried to talk,but his voice wouldn't come out. He tried until he began to vomit blood but nothing came out,no word or sound.
What is this... Is this some game, why am I imprisoned here?
His guard was slowly regainingconsciousnessand coughing slowly so he crawled towards her and checked her condition. After resting for a while,she regained her consciousness and saw her boss patting her on the head.
"Sir... I'm sorry,you got dragged into this and ended up like this. I know you don't understand what's going on so I'll explain."
Arthur listened attentively as she began to speak.
"When you left the building,I went back to grab something then I saw the ceo coming out of his daughter's room with tears in his eyes, according to what was reported,he found his daughter, Ruby, dead in her room.
When Arthur heard that,he broke down and cried,but blood came out of his eyes instead of tears. As she continued, the CEO walked in and stood in front of the prison cell.
Immediately Arthur guard saw him,she ran to him and held the bars and begged.
"Please sir... I was the one that killed her, please release my master."
" Don't try to play smart. The only one's with access to the room is me and him. You can't be the one. The only reason you're here is because you might be an accomplice"
Arthur sat in the cell, with his face facing the ground. He couldn't even lift his face up despite hearing all the accusations laid against him
His boss glanced one more time to his direction before exiting. Night came and descended, ensuing darkness in the place. Arthur was wide awake, unable to sleep after thanks to the pain from whatever he was injected with. His guard slept on his lap while he made sure to make her comfortable
At the stroke of midnight,an egg flew through the entrance and landed on his body. He raised it up to check,but a guard passed by, prompting him to hide it with him.
As morning came,he was brought in front of the prison to be executed. After hanging him by a stick, he's lit on fire and burned. As his life slowly faded away, he watched the crowd cheer as he slowly burned. Just before he died, Arthur sights a guard smiled at him before walking back to the CEO. Seeing this, he clenched his fist.
Oh right... I almost made up my mind that I was the killer... Now I have a bastard to kill ... I wish I could go back in time to find the bastard that killed Ruby
As he talked,a different kind of flame engulfed him, burning his body to nothing. When he opened his eyes,he was back in a room, similar to his room back at his home in Seoul.
"Huh..."
He suddenly sat up, shocked by his ability to speak. He turned to observe the surrounding and looked, confused at the sudden change in the environment
As he stood to his feet,a glance at the mirror was all that was needed to realize that he had gone back in time
"This... Is a 6 year old me"
