Lucas had been pacing frantically around his living room, his mind reeling from the bizarre circumstances he found himself in. He clearly remembered dying – hit by a truck of all things! Yet here he was, alive and well in this strange new world. The knock on the door barely registered as he grappled with his existential crisis.

"I'm dead, but I'm not dead? How is this possible?" He muttered, running his hands through his hair. "And why a house in the woods? Is this some kind of isekai situation?"

The knocking persisted, finally breaking through his distracted state. With a deep breath, Lucas approached the door, unsure of what to expect in this unfamiliar realm. He hesitated for a moment, then slowly turned the handle and opened the door.

His eyes widened in shock as he looked down to see a tiny, winged creature floating at eye level. It was a fairy – an honest-to-goodness fairy! – with delicate wings, pointed ears, and long pink hair. Lucas blinked rapidly, wondering if he was hallucinating.

The fairy, Tulip, began to speak, her words tumbling out in an excited, nervous rush as she rambled about humans and her fascination with them. When she finally stopped, covering her face in embarrassment, Lucas found himself at a loss for words.

After a moment of stunned silence, he managed to stammer. "I… uh… wow. You're a fairy. An actual fairy. I'm not imagining this, am I?" He rubbed his eyes, half-expecting the tiny creature to disappear. When she remained, he let out a nervous laugh. "I'm Lucas. And I… I think I might need to sit down."

Lucas collapsed onto the couch, his eyes still fixed on the tiny, fluttering fairy before him. He let out a wary sigh, the weight of his bizarre situation pressing down on him. His head throbbed as he tried to reconcile two sets of memories – one form his past life, and another from this new existence.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled, rubbing his temples. "This is… a lot to take in. I'm not sure how to explain this, but I seem to have memories from two different lives. And now there's a fairy at my door." He chuckled weakly, the absurdity of it all hitting him.

Tulip, still blushing furiously, peeked out from behind her hands. Her curiosity overrode her embarrassment as she saw Lucas's distress. She fluttered closer, her wings creating a soft breeze.

" Are you okay, Lucas?" She asked, her voice filled with genuine concern. "You look… confused. Is it because of me? I'm sorry if I startled you! I didn't mean to cause you any trouble. I just… I've never met a human before, and I was so excited!"

She hovered near his face, her tiny hands clasped together. "Can I… can I help somehow? I know fairy magic. Maybe I could ease your headache?"

Lucas looked at the earnest little fairy, a small smile tugging at his lips despite his confusion. "You're very kind, Tulip. I'm just… trying to make sense of everything. But please, do come in. I could use a distraction, and you seem to have a lot of questions about humans."

He held out his hand, palm up, offering Tulip a place to land. "Why don't you tell me more about yourself? And maybe you can explain where I am. Because I'm pretty sure fairies don't exist where I come from."

Tulip, looked at him in confusion, her tiny head tilting to the side. "You're in the woods, silly, in the human world!" She exclaimed excitedly.

Lucas, could slowly remember, through his jumbled mess of memories, his situation. In this new life of his, his parents died in a car accident, leaving him an orphan. Lucas, using his inheritance moved to Japan and transferred to a high school in a small town called Kuoh.

"KUOH?!"

Tulip tilted her head, her wings fluttering as she watched Lucas's expression change. His sudden realization seemed to startle him, causing beads of sweat to form on his forehead. She landed gently on his outstretched palm, her tiny feet tickling his skin.

"Lucas? Are you alright?" She asked, her voice filled with concern. "You look like you've seen a ghost! Is Kuoh a bad place? I thought it was just a normal human town?"

Lucas's mind raced as he tried to process this new information. Kuoh wasn't just a fictional town from an anime – it was real, and he was leaving near it. The implications were staggering. If Kuoh existed, did that mean the characters from the anime were real too? "Devils, angels, fallen angels… were they all out there?"

Hell! According to his new memories, he was about to start his school year in Kuoh Academy! Lucas turned to the fairy. "Tulip, I think I might need you to tell me everything you know about this world."

"Of course! You can ask me questions! I'd love to answer them! It's only fair since I have so many for you!"

She settles onto the arm of the couch, her legs dangling over the edge. Her red eyes are wide as she takes in every detail of the human's living space, from the furniture to the smallest knick-knacks. She can hardly contain her excitement at being in a real human dwelling.

"This is amazing!" She gushes, looking around. "Everything's so big and… and human! Oh, I have so many things I want to know about all of this!"

Then she turns her attention back to Lucas, her expression becoming more serious as she remembers his words. "But you mentioned devils… Are you in danger, Lucas? Is that why you seem so tired and worried? Because if you are, I want to help! I may be small, but I know lots about forest and magic!"

She leans forward, her tiny hands gripping the couch fabric. "Please, tell me what's going on. What's this world you've found yourself in?"

Lucas looked at her pensively, for a long moment debating with himself how much he should say. Finally with a sigh and a nod he said. "First of all, you MUST keep this a secret." He said seriously. "I died and got reincarnated here, in this world. Now, you answer me, little fairy. What do you know about mythologies of this world? Devils, Fallen and Angels in particular."

Tulip's eyes widen in awe at Lucas's revelation. She leans in closer, her wings fluttering with excitement.

"Wow, reincarnation! That's incredible!" She whispers, clearly impressed. "Don't worry, I'm great at keeping secrets. I won't tell anyone, I promise!"

She pauses for a moment, her brow furrowing in concentration as she considers Lucas's question. "Well, I know a bit about mythologies, but mostly from human stories I've read. Devils, Fallen and Angels… They're powerful beings, right? I've never seen one myself, but I've heard whispers in the fairy realm."

Tulip taps her chin thoughtfully. "Angels are supposed to be servants of the Chrystian God, all light and goodness. Devils are their opposites, creatures of darkness and temptation. And Fallen Angels… they're angels who turned away from God, I think?"

She looks up at Lucas, her expression a mix of curiosity and concern. "Are they real here? Is that why you're worried?" Her tiny hands ball into fists. "If they're dangerous, I'll do whatever I can to help protect you, Lucas! I may be small, but I have magic, and I know every inch of these woods!"

Lucas, however, palmed his face in despair, groaning. "So, you probably know even less than I do. Great, just great." He paused as he noticed the little fairy's hurt look. "Sorry." He said quickly with a sigh. "It's not your fault, it's just… knowing what I know of this world and of what will be happening… It is a bit stressful." He chuckled, though the sound seemed empty to Tulip's ears.

Fairy's expression softens at his apology, she flutters closer to him, landing gently on his knee. She looks up at him with concern in her big red eyes.

"Oh Lucas, I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful." She says softly. "But please, don't despair! Maybe if you tell me more about what you know, I could learn and help somehow?"

She reaches out a tiny hand and pats his much larger one comfortingly. "You said you know what will be happening… Does that mean you can see the future? Or is it because you've lived before?"

Tulip's wings quiver with excitement and worry. "Whatever it is, you don't have to face it alone. I may not know much about devils and angels, but I'm a quick learner! And I have magic of my own. Maybe together we can figure something out?"

She stands up on his knee, placing her hands on her hips in a determined pose. "So come on, tell me everything! What's going to happen? What are you worried about? Let's tackle this together!"

Lucas opened his mouth to tell her everything, but shut it immediately afterwards, a thoughtful frown on his face as he suddenly realized. "But I don't actually have to join the supernatural." He muttered. "The supernatural don't know about me! I could go on with my business, being just another highschooler, ignoring the young devils in the school entirely. I don't have to join either Rias or Sona… I could live a normal life…"

Tulip's ears perk up as she catches Lucas's muttering. She tilts her head curiously, her pink hair falling to one side as she tries to make sense of what he's saying.

"Normal life? But Lucas, you're already extraordinary!" She exclaims, fluttering up to hover in front of his face. "You've been reincarnated! You know things about the future! How could you possibly have a normal life?"

Her tiny brows furrow in confusion. "And who are Rias and Sona? Are they the devils you mentioned? Why would you need to join them?"

She flies in a small circle, thinking out loud. "But if the supernatural doesn't know about you, that could be an advantage, right? You could observe without being noticed!"

Tulip's lands on Lucas's shoulder, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about you. Your secret is safe with me! But… can't you tell me more? I promise I can help! Even if you don't want to get involved with these supernatural beings, wouldn't it be good to have a supernatural ally? Someone who knows the forest and can keep an eye out for you?"

She looks at him with hopeful, sparkling eyes." Please, Lucas? Let me be your secret fairy helper! I want to be part of your extraordinary life!"

Lucas listened to her with growing worry in his stomach."I'm already extraordinary?" He asked with a quiet voice. "You don't get it, little fairy, the supernatural is brutal. You either join a side or you get eliminated before you can become a threat, or you are forced to join a side… So, me being extraordinary is problematic…"

Tulip's eyes widen in concern as she realizes the gravity of Lucas's situation. She flutter back a bit hovering in front of him with serious expression. "Oh, I see… I didn't realize it was that dangerous." She says softly. "I'm sorry, I got carried away with my excitement. I didn't mean to put you at risk."

His gaze soften as he regarded the cute fairy, still, he had one more question that needed an answer. "Also, how come you've found me here?"

She fidgets with her dress looking slightly ashamed. "Well, I live in these woods. I've always been fascinated by humans, so when I noticed your house, I couldn't resist coming to investigate. I've been watching you from afar for a while now, trying to work up the courage to introduce myself."

Tulip's expression turns determined. "But Lucas, even if it's dangerous, I want to help you. I may be small, but I'm not helpless. My magic may be different from what these supernatural beings have. Maybe that could be an advantage?"

She flies closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. "And if you need to blend in and appear normal, I could be your eyes and ears. I can go places unnoticed, gather information. No one would suspect a tiny fairy, right?" Her red eyes met Lucas's green, filled with sincerity. "I understand if you are scared. But please, don't push me away. Let me help you stay safe. We can figure this out together, quietly and carefully. What do you say?"

Lucas looked at her gratefully, a small smile slowly appeared on his face. "Tulip, at this point I'll take any help I can get… say, would you be able to tell if someone has magical potential?" Lucas asked silently hoping and dreading that he could wield magic.

Tulip's eyes light up at his question, her wings fluttering excitedly. She flies closer circling around him as if examining him from all angles. "Oh, yes, I can definitely sense magical potential!" She chirps enthusiastically. "It's a natural ability of fairies. We can sense threads of magic that run through all living things."

She hovers in front of Lucas's face, her tiny hands outstretched towards him. Her brow furrows in concentration as she focuses her magical senses. "Hmm… Let's see…" She murmurs. After a moment, her eyes widen in surprise. "Oh my! Lucas, you… you have an incredible amount of mana! It's like nothing I've ever seen before!"

Tulip does a little backflip in the air, unable to contain her excitement. "Your soul is practically bursting with untapped magical energy! You're brimming with power!"

She lands on his shoulder, her voice dropping to an excited whisper. "This is amazing, Lucas! With potential like this, you could learn to wield magic yourself. It might even help you protect yourself from these supernatural beings you're worried about."

Tulip looks up at him, her red eyes sparkling with determination. "If you want, I could teach you some fairy magic. It's different from what those devils and angels use, so it might give you an edge. What do you think? Do you want to learn?"

Lucas's eyes light up with excitement. He could learn magic, real magic. He was magic! His previous life was as mundane as one could be, but here? Oh boy!

"Alright, so, if we're partners, then full disclosure…" and then he started to tell her what he knew of this world, the DxD, about the Fallen Angell arc, Phenex arc, Excaliburs arc, the factions, devils especially with their peerage system, everything…

Tulip on the other hand listened intently, her eyes growing wider and wider, with each word Lucas spoken, her tiny mouth hung open in awe. "Oh my goodness, Lucas!" She exclaims when he finally finishes. "This is… This is incredible! And terrifying! And exciting! All at once!" She zooms around his head in tight circles, her mind clearly racing.

"Fallen angels targeting humans with Sacred Gears… Devils with their peerage systems…And you know all of this because it was a story in your old world? That's amazing!"

Lucas chuckled in amusement. "Glad you think so."

She pauses mid-flight, a look of determination crossing her face. "We absolutely need to keep you safe and hidden. If any of these factions found out about your knowledge, they'd stop at nothing to get you on their side."

She lands on the coffee table in front of Lucas, pacing back and forth as she thinks out loud. "Okay, so we need to work on your magic. Defensive magic especially. Lucas, I swear I'll do anything in my power to help you. We'll train your magic, gather information and keep you safe. Together, we might even be able to change some of those terrible events!"

She flies up to hover in front of his face. "So, partner." She says with a grin, extending her tiny hand. "Shall we start your magical training?"

Lucas smiled sadly at her. "I'm afraid we won't have time. I'm scheduled to visit Kuoh Academy for my orientation day tomorrow. One of the council members will be showing me around, which means the devils will be able to sense my magical potential immediately… But, maybe... just maybe, that's a good thing?"

Lucas rose from the couch and started pacing around the living room. "If I join a peerage and become a devil myself I will have my lifespan extended by thousands of years. I definitely don't fancy having a normal human lifespan, especially when I live in such a magical world."

Tulip's expression shifts from excitement to concern as she listens to Lucas's words. She flutters closer, landing gently on his shoulder. "Oh, Lucas." She says softly, her tiny hands resting on his cheek. "I understand why you'd want to extend your lifespan. This world is indeed magical and full of wonders."

She pauses, thinking for a moment. "But becoming a devil… That's a big decision. Are you sure that's what you want? Remember, devils have their own agendas and politics. You'd be trading one set of dangers for another."

Tulip flies up, hovering in front of Lucas's face with a determined look. "Listen, we still have tonight before your school starts. Why don't we use this time to at least start your magical training? I can teach you some basic protection and concealment spells. That way even if the devils sense your potential, you'll have some defenses in place."

"And who knows?" She continued. "Maybe if you show up already knowing some magic, it'll change how they approach you. It could give you more leverage in any negotiations about joining a peerage." Tulip grins mischievously. "Plus, wouldn't it be fun to surprise them a little? Imagine their faces when they realize you're not some ordinary human with potential, but someone who's already tapping into their power!"

She extends her tiny hand towards Lucas. "So, what do you say? Shall we have an all-night magical cram session? I promise to make it as fun and exciting as possible!"

Lucas's answer was a wide grin directed at his fairy companion. "I'll be in your care, sensei. Please, teach me."

Tulip beams with excitement, her wings fluttering rapidly. "Wonderful! Let's get started right away!" She zips around the room, her tiny form glowing with magical energy. "Okay, first things first." She says, hovering in front of Lucas. "We'll start with the basics of magical energy manipulation. Close your eyes and try to feel the energy flowing through you."

Tulip places her tiny hands on Lucas's forehead, channeling a bit of her own magic to help him sense his inner power. "Concentrate on the warmth spreading from my touch. That's magical energy. Now, try to find that same feeling inside yourself."

"Imagine that energy as a glowing light within you. Once you can visualize it, try to make it move. Push it towards your hands, then your feet, then back to your core."

She watches intently, her red eyes glowing with magical sight. "That's it, Lucas! You're doing great. Now, let's try something more concrete. We'll start with a simple light spell. Concentrate on that energy, and imagine it forming a small, glowing orb in your palm." Tulip demonstrates, creating a tiny ball of fairy light in her hand. "Just like this, but bigger. Concentrate, Lucas. Feel the energy, shape it, and let it shine!"

Lucas doesn't know for how long he was standing near-still in the middle of the room, his brows furrowed in concentration as he tried to follow Tulip's instructions. He gritted his teeth trying to harness the feeling she described until, something clicked and he felt warmth coming from his palm and spreading outward. He opened his eyes slowly and proceeded to stare at his hand in shock. A hand that was holding a small ball of shining light. "Magic." He said in awe. "I'm doing actual, real magic."

Tulip claps her tiny hands together in delight, her face beaming with pride and excitement. "You did it, Lucas! You're absolutely right – this is real magic!" She flutters around the glowing orb in Lucas's palm, admiring it from every angle. "And on your first try, too! You really do have incredible potential."

The fairy's enthusiasm is contagious as she zips back to hover in front of Lucas's face. "How does it feel? Can you sense the energy flowing through you, taking shape on your command?"

Lucas nodded, still staring silently at the ball of magic he was holding.

"This is just the beginning, Lucas. Light manipulation is a great starting point for learning control. Once you've mastered this, we can move on to more complex spells – protective barriers, concealment charms, even some basic elemental manipulation!"

She lands on his shoulder, patting his cheek affectionately. "You're a natural at this. I have a feeling you'll be casting advanced spells in no time. And just think – tomorrow when you meet those devils, you'll already have some magical skills under your belt. You're not going in unprepared anymore!"

"Thank you, Tulip. Truly." Lucas said to his fairy. "I will feel a lot better if I could at least somewhat defend myself before going to school." His eyes gleaming with hope.

Tulip beams at him, her tiny face filled with determination and affection. "You're very welcome, Lucas! I'm so glad I can help. Now, let's make sure you're as prepared as possible tomorrow."

- - -

New day arrives too quickly for Lucas, as he moves forward, his step confident as he approaches the gates of Kuoh Academy.

A member of the student council was already waiting for him by the main doors of the building, a beautiful, if tomboyish, young girl with blue hair and matching eyes by the name of Tsubasa Yura. She was wearing a Kuoh Academy uniform, which accentuates her athletic build. A [Rook] of Sona Sitri's peerage, Lucas recalled.

"Hello there." He greeted the girl with a smile. "My name is Lucas Black. Are you supposed to be my guide?" He asked.

As she turned to greet him with a polite smile, she seems to pause for a moment, her eyes widening slightly as if sensing something unusual about him.

"Yes, that's right." She responds, quickly regaining her composure. "I'm Tsubasa Yura, a member of the student council. I'll be showing you around Kuoh Academy today." She extends her hand for a handshake, her grip firm and confident.

As their hands meet, Lucas felt a subtle tingle of magical energy – a sign that Tsubasa is indeed trying to gauge his magical potential. Her expression remain neutral, but there's a glint of curiosity in her eyes.

"It's nice to meet you, Lucas." She continues, releasing his hand. "Shall we begin the tour? I'll show you the main buildings, your classroom, and some of the key facilities. If you have any questions along the way, please don't hesitate to ask."

Tsubasa gestures towards the school entrance, ready to lead Lucas into the world of Kuoh Academy. The air seems charged with possibility as Lucas takes his first steps into this new chapter of his life.

"I will be in your care." He answered with a small smile, he did always had a thing for bluenettes… "Lead the way, my lady."

Tsubasa's cheeks flush slightly at Lucas's charming response, her eyes widening a fraction before she regains her composure. She clears her throat and begins leading him into the school.

"Well then, Lucas Black, welcome to Kuoh Academy." She says, her voice carrying a hint of warmth. "Let's start with the main building."

As they walk, Tsubasa points out various classrooms and facilities, explaining their purposes and any important rules. She keeps glancing at Lucas from the corner of her eye, clearly intrigued by his presence and the magical aura she can sense.

"So, Lucas." She says casually as they climb a staircase. "What made you choose Kuoh Academy? It's not often we get transfer students, especially ones with such… interesting qualities."

Her eyes meet his, a knowing look in them. It's clear she's probing, trying to gauge just how aware Lucas is of his own magical potential and the supernatural world around him.

Lucas shrugs his arms. "I always wanted to study in Japan, and this school came highly recommended, so I simply decided to try my luck and apply. Though now I'm curious…" His grin turned roguish. "What qualities are you talking about, Tsu-ba-sa?"

Tsubasa's eyes widen at the playful response, a mix of surprise and intrigue crossing her face. She stops walking, turning to face him fully, her blue eyes locked onto his.

"Oh? Playing coy, are we?" She says, a smirk tugging at her lips. "Very well, Lucas Black. Let's be direct then."

She leans in slightly, her voice dropping to a low murmur. "I'm talking about the magical power you're radiating. It's… impressive, to say the least. Not something I'd expect from a typical transfer student."

Tsubasa's gaze intensifies, searching Lucas's face for any reaction. "So, tell me, Lucas. Are you truly here just for the prestigious education? Or is there more to your story?"

Her body language shifts subtly, ready to react if needed. It's clear that while she's intrigued, she's also cautious. The air between them crackles with tension and unspoken possibilities.

Lucas met her gaze unflinchingly. "I'm disappointed… And here I thought you were referring to my handsome features…" He teased. "But yes, I did come here specifically for education." He half-lied.

Tsubasa blinks in surprise at his response, then let's out a soft chuckle. Her posture relaxes slightly, though her eyes remain alert and curious.

"Smooth talker, aren't you?" She says, a hint of amusement in her voice. "Well, I suppose your handsome features are worth mentioning too."

She resumes walking, gesturing for Lucas to follow. "But let's not dance around the subject. You have magical potential, Lucas. Significant potential, at that. It's not something you can hide easily, especially not from those of us who are… sensitive to such things."

Tsubasa glances at him sidelong. "I'm sure you're aware that Kuoh Academy isn't just any ordinary school. There are… special students here. Students with abilities similar to what I sense in you."

She stops at a window, looking out over the school grounds. "I'm part of a group that looks out for people like you, Lucas. People with potential who might need guidance, or protection. Would you be interested in learning more about that?"

Her offer hangs in the air laden with implications.

Lucas finally responds neutrally, his voice cautious. "I am curious to learn more, but I can't promise anything… even to someone as gorgeous as you." He bit his tongue, mentally groaning at his horrible attempt at flirting.

Tsubasa's eyebrows raise at his response, a smirk playing on her lips. She turns to face him fully, her blue eyes sparkling with intrigue.

"My, my, Lucas. You certainly know how to keep things interesting." She says, her voice low and tinged with amusement. "Flattery will get you everywhere, you know."

She takes a step closer, her presence both alluring and slightly more intimidating. "But you're right to be cautious. These aren't decisions to be made lightly."

Tsubasa glances around, ensuring they're alone in the hallway. "Tell you what." She says, leaning in conspiratorially. "Why don't we continue this conversation after school? There's a quiet café nearby where we can talk more… freely. I can introduce you to some people who might be able to answer your questions better than I can."

She pulls out a small notepad, scribbling something down. "Here's my number. Text me if you're interested, and we can set up a meeting. No pressure, of course. But I think you'll find it… enlightening."

Tsubasa hands Lucas the paper with her number, her fingers brushing against his as she does so. "Now, shall we continue the tour? We still have plenty of the academy to see, and I wouldn't want to neglect my duties as your guide."

Her smile is warm, but her eyes remain sharp, clearly still assessing Lucas and his potential.

"I will definitely give you a call." He told her. "It just so happens that I have a weakness for bluenettes." Once more he cringed internally.

However Tsubasa's eyes widen slightly at his bold statement, a faint blush coloring her cheeks, making Lucas wonder in awe at how that line could have worked? Tsubasa quickly regains her composure, but there's new spark of interest in her gaze.

"Well, aren't you full of surprises?" She says, her voice a mix of amusement and intrigue. "I'll look forward to that call then."

As they continue the tour, Tsubasa seems to stand a bit closer to Lucas, her body language more open and inviting. She points out various facilities – the library, the gym, the science labs – all while stealing glances at him.

"And here's your classroom." She says, stopping in front of a door. "You'll start classes tomorrow. I hope you'll find Kuoh Academy to your liking, Lucas."

She turns to face him fully, her blue eyes meeting his. "Remember, if you have any questions or… needs… don't hesitate to reach out to me. The student council is here to help, after all."

Tsubasa's smile is warm, with just a hint of something more. "I'll be looking forward to our after-school chat. Don't keep a girl waiting too long, okay?" With a playful wink she starts to walk away, her hips swaying slightly more than necessary.

Lucas leaves the school grounds, still internally berating himself for his cringe-worthy attempts at flirting… even if it looked like to be somehow working… As he walked forwards he felt a shiver run down his spine. He stopped abruptly, his eyes scanning his surroundings.

Far in the distance he spotted a girl. A young woman in a Kuoh Academy uniform, with red hair. To his shock, she was even more beautiful than Tsubasa. The redhead looked at him curiously from a window of the old school house, before smirking and disappearing from the view.

Lucas shook his head to clear his thoughts and made his way home, his mind raced with the events of the day. The encounter with Tsubasa, her subtle probing about his magical potential, and now the mysterious red-haired beauty watching him from afar – it was all starting to feel very real.

He couldn't shake the feeling that he was stepping into a world far more complex and dangerous than he had initially imagined. The wight of his knowledge about the DxD universe pressed heavily on his shoulders. He knew that the red haired girl must have been Rias Gremory, one of the key players in the supernatural world of Kuoh Academy.

As he walked Lucas felt a familiar flutter near his ear. Tulip, his tiny fairy companion, had been hiding in his collar throughout the day, observing everything.

"Well, well." She whispered, her voice tinged with excitement and a hint of jealousy. "Looks like you've caught the attention of some powerful players already, Lucas. That blue-haired girl was definitely trying to sense your magical power. And did you see that redhead? She was practically undressing you with her eyes!"

Tulip flew in front of Lucas's face, her tiny hands on her hips. "So, what's the plan now, partner? Are you going to meet with Tsubasa? And what about that red-haired devil princess? Things are moving faster than we anticipated!"

Lucas gently shook his head. "No, Tulip. Things are moving exactly as fast as I thought they would the moment you revealed to me my magical potential." He said, his tone neutral. "For now we go home. I would like to learn as much as possible from you. I'm sure you have more to teach me after all." He told his fairy partner, small smile tugging at his lips.

Tulip beamed at him, her tiny form glowing with excitement. "You're absolutely right! I have so much more to teach you. We'll make sure you're prepared for whatever comes next."

As they walked home, Tulip flitted around Lucas's head, chattering enthusiastically. "Tonight, we'll work on strengthening your magical barriers…"

Reaching the safety of their home, Tulip immediately launched into their lesson. The tiny fairy was a dedicated teacher, guiding Lucas through increasingly complex magical exercises. Her red eyes sparkled with pride as she watched her human partner grow stronger with each passing hour.

As night fell, Tulip perched on Lucas's shoulder, her voice soft but determined. "You did great today, Lucas. Both at school and with your magic. Whatever happens tomorrow, remember – I'm right here with you. We're in this together."

The fairy's unwavering support was a comfort to Lucas as he prepared for bed, his mind swirling with thoughts of devils, magic and the challenges that lay ahead. Tomorrow would bring new tests, but for now, he could rest, knowing he was better prepared than before.
