Seoha's POV
My heart is beating too hard, almost like it's trying to jump out of my chest and to the floor.
I've been caught and instead of running my feet are glued to the spot and my hand trembles in his hold.
My brain has shut down, and I stay there frozen in front of the man I should be robbing.
His warm fingers are wrapped firmly around my wrist, and my mouth is hanging open like I am surprised at my own action.
My eyes go from his cold, expressionless face to his brown, expensive leather wallet in my hand.
Oh Shin Seoha…
Thunder rumbles and the lightning that flashes across the sky reflects in the man's dark eyes and that's when I catch a whiff of his pheromones.
He smells like…rain?…and a touch of something darker, like smoke and wood.
He opens his mouth to speak, "what the hell are you doing?" he asks, his voice comes out deep and strong, and out of fear I snatch my wrist out of his hand.
The alpha lets out a powerful, low growl that sounds almost inhuman but I don't stop, I can't stop, my legs are moving on autopilot.
I run through the door, slipping through it with the person that left it open at the last second and I dash into the hotel before anyone can notice or stop me.
I don't know which way I am supposed to run in, but I run anyways with my heart pounding; please don't catch me, please don't catch me.
I look back and see two men running after me.
I know I can stop and apologize for my actions, but I don't, I keep running as fast as I can.
"Stop right there!" one of the men yell as my legs carry me through long hallways that I know nothing about and I slip twice, almost falling from the water from my wet shoes.
Somehow, I turn around many corners and lose the men but I keep moving in desperation.
That alpha terrifies me. The anger from earlier is no match for the fear pushing me forward.
"Sir!" a staff of the hotel calls and I stop in my tracks, scared that I have been caught eventually, but she only points to the corner ahead of me.
"There's a bathroom over there sir, you can dry yourself a bit" she says with a forced polite smile.
She is obviously annoyed at me, and I bow twice in apology.
Maybe this is why Daeshin forces me to stay home, maybe he is protecting me from the mess that I am.
I look at the dirt I brought into the hotel and I am filled with shame, there's a trail of dark water, a mix of mud and fake hair dye on the previously clean hotel floor.
"Sorry" I apologize once more before going into the bathroom she had pointed out to me.
As soon as I push the door open, I find a number of men doing their business.
I force my heart to stay calm, they all look pristine and classy in their suits while I look exactly like what I just did…a thief.
I keep my head down and get into one of the empty stalls.
As soon as I shut the door my legs give out, and I sit on the lidded toilet seat. Anger, fear, desperation and a mix of…tiredness runs through my veins all at once.
"Fuck" I mutter to myself and rest my face in my palms, my heart is pumping so hard that it's almost like the organ is threatening to jump out of my chest.
"Stupid…" I say to myself under my breath and hit my head twice.
I can't believe I comfortably robbed someone, my parents would be so disappointed in me…I am so disappointed in me right now.
My stomach makes a grumbling noise, and I wrap my arms around myself to try and silence the noise.
All that running has only made me feel hungrier than I was before, I look at the wallet in my hand and let out a sigh, maybe robbing is not such a bad idea.
'Liar' my omega says, exposing my true feelings.
Silencing the omega, I open the wallet and gasp loudly as I stare at the things inside: he has cash, a whole wad of it.
"Woah" I say as I trace my fingers on the cash, "it's real cash" I drop my voice to whisper, as the sound of feet shuffling reminds me of where I am.
I can pay for two days here and eat comfortably before I get caught…right?
He also has a number of cards and one of them is a black card, I pull out the card to examine it in awe.
It's like touching a miracle.
I've only ever seen one in movies, the card is sleek and simple, with a name on it that catches my attention.
Kang Taesan.
"Kang Taesan?" I repeat to myself and trace the gold letters curiously, there's something about that name.
I'm sure I've heard it somewhere but I'm not sure, maybe it's the guilt starting to eat me up, I put the card back into the wallet.
He wouldn't care about something this little being stolen, will he?
I slide the wallet into my soaked pants pocket and step out of the bathroom stall like today is a normal Tuesday.
The two men left in bathroom are uninterested in me. Thankfully they are both omega, painfully, they both have their collars on, belonging to someone that wants them.
'Alpha?' my omega whine, craving safety and I walk out of the bathroom, I'm not going back to him.
Tonight is the night I become a new man, a man with cash in his wallet, a man that is not heart broken and a man who will be fine on his own.
"Sooin-ah! Come back here!" I hear a woman's voice call out loudly, she sounds really worried and I turn around to look.
I see a young child running towards me with a teddy bear clutched to her chest and a big smile.
The little girl opens her mouth and screams out a word that has never been used to address me before.
"Daddy!" she screams as her small body crashes into me.
Daddy?
