YOU = Yoonchae (yoonchae's POV)
You lay awake on her bed. You toss and turn, unable to sleep. Rain falls heavily, battering the roof, making a loud, obnoxious noise. It is 12:30pm. You hesitate, then slowly get out of bed, making sure to not wake any of the girls up. You quietly walk to the kitchen, in hopes to find a good snack.
As you enter the kitchen, you hear the soft sound of someone crying. "Sophia?" You whispered into the darkness.
Sophia look up from her huddled position on the floor, "Yoonchae?" She sniffled.
"A-Are you okay?" You ask quietly.
"Not really."
You hesitate, "Do you want me to go, if so I will."
"No, stay." She replies.
You sit down beside her, and rest her hand on her shoulder, "I know you are usually the one doing this but, "What's wrong?" you ask softly.
"It's so difficult being ther leader, I love it, but it is really hard when all the pressure is on me..."
You didn't realize how difficult it must be for Sophia, she cares for all of you. "I kinda get, you know, being the maknae and all, but it must be hard. I don't know how you do it."
"Sometimes I don't either." Sophia responds, whipping her tears with the back of her hand.
"I'm sorry for troubling you with this..." She says.
"Don't be, you are only human, you can only do so much." You murmurs.
Sophia takes a deep breath, "Thank you, sometimes I feel like people forget that."
"Don't pressure yourself so much, it won't help.
"You're different, Yoonchae," Sophia tells you.
"How?
"I feel like I can talk to you about anything, and you'll understand, I--I like that about you." She smiles, and unfolds her legs.
"I'll always understand." You reply. Their is a gentle silence for a moment, a calm and kind one. Not awkward at all.
Finally, Sophia says, "Do you like being treated as the maknae?"
The truth was, it was a bit annoying when Megan or Daniella babied you, "I like when you do." You smile and blush a little.
Sophia blushes too, and turns around slightly to reveal an opened bag of chips, "want some?" She asks you, smiling again.
"Yes please." You both giggle.
You take a chip, and pop it in your mouth. When you're done, you put your hand down. It brushes Sophia's. Your heart skips a beat. This was only the beginning..
